Microsoft Rewards seems to be in the news all the time at the moment, and we've got yet another story to bring you about the service today, as it's just quietly begun implementing a "cooldown time" in certain countries.
While the implementation might have been quiet, MS Rewards fans noticed it very quickly - and have been sharing their displeasure about it on the official subreddit and various other social media platforms over the past few hours.
Here's a look at how this new cooldown time works:
As we've mentioned, this only applies in certain countries right now, and it appears to be just a handful. We've only seen Microsoft Rewards users in India, Brazil and Mexico complaining that it's shown up for them so far.
There's no evidence that this new 15-minute cooldown time for Microsoft Rewards will extend to other countries, but given how quiet Microsoft tends to be about the service, it doesn't look like we'll get any clarification either way.
To be fair though, a Microsoft representative did actually address the recent "nerfs" to MS Rewards in a statement last week, reassuring fans that the program will "aim to grow in ways that continue to provide value to our members".
