Police Simulator: Patrol Officers is always hanging around the "Top Paid" Xbox charts in at least a few countries, so it's surely been a massive success for publisher Astragon and developer Aesir Interactive since its arrival.
The updates are still rolling in as well, with a major Crime Scene Update coming this week! Launching on October 19th, this update features more advanced crime scene callouts, as well as a few new tools and a new vehicle.
Here's a bit of what you can expect from the Police Simulator: Patrol Officers Crime Scene Update:
"A robbery? An assault? Up until now, the process of approaching a crime scene has been rather straightforward. You arrive, interview a witness and either you know who the suspect is, or you don't – and if you do, it's time to look out for the wanted suspect.
With The Crime Scene Update, your responsibilities will grow and your tasks will advance: With the new and advanced crime scene callouts, which can appear during 'Car Patrols', you are directly responsible for the safety and initial procedures as the first responder arriving at the scene."
If you're interested, more in-depth details about the Crime Scene Update are available over on Steam:
There's clearly a lot of intrigue surrounding Police Simulator: Police Officers, so that's why we decided to give it a go for ourselves last year - at the time, we called it "rough around the edges, but surprisingly addictive", and keep in mind that it's continued to improve with multiple free updates since then. We've had a fun time with it overall!

Any new achievements for the update ?
@Martsmall Haven't seen anything about this yet... patch notes will arrive on Thursday
Not a very realistic police sim is it if the cops are investigating or solving crimes it should be waiting in laybuys for speeding motorists or never arriving to arrest criminals lol
What is even the point of a police sim if I cannot harass black men for fitting the description? That and stand and stare at their cell phone is like 98% of what cops do in my city.
@FraserG thank you , I've also tweeted them hopefully they reply
Not gonna lie. I've seen this streamed a lot. But had no idea it was on Xbox. 😂
I might have ya check it out. Looks kinda like GTA but from the cop view point. And a bit more tame.
