Respawn Entertainment has shared some welcome news with the community of Apex Legends. The free-to-play battle royale will finally be getting cross-platform progression on 31st October.
This update will arrive alongside Season 19 and the newest Legend Conduit. This cross-progression update will include account merging - with all existing items and cosmetics available on one account that can be played across multiple platforms.
According to the official blog, players will be phased into this over a period of time to "ensure stability for this anticipated feature".
"Keep an eye out for an in-game prompt to initiate the migration to bring together your content and progression. Cross Progression data will be associated with your EA account. Due to the nature of merging accounts across platforms, various aspects of Apex Legends (Apex Coins, Crafting Materials, etc.) will be impacted differently."
It's also noted how unlocked Legends and inventory will be the same across platforms excluding platform exclusives. You can learn more on EA's website.

Could have done with this 2-3 years ago when I switched from PS as my main console. Not going to grumble too much but it’s unlikely I’ll switch over to PS or PC at this point.
Sooo.. anyone played The Finals Beta?
@Ocat yea. Love the idea didn’t enjoy The execution. Got destroyed in most my games.
How are you finding it?
@ParsnipHero
I like it so far. Played 5 matches. Every match it goes better and better. The high speed, big maps and skills makes the the game a lot harder in the beginning than it actually is. You have to adapt to the speed and gameplay. After a few matches it’s start to click
@Ocat glad to hear you’re enjoying it. My experience has been mixed. I’ve not had a positive trajectory of games. I’ve only played as the medium class so far. I like the goo grenade but I generally find I’m getting outgunned with the AK.
This whole thing has kinda made me want to play Apex Legends again though. Not played that in a long while. Plus I miss my boy Mirage.
@ParsnipHero I've not switched from the medium class either, found it to be easier with the revolver, sonar grenade and the lil turret.
@Cherip-the-Ripper I ended up having a really good time with the game over the weekend. I did switch to Heavy but then back to Medium. Turret is great for securing the quick cash vault.
I wanted to line the Heavy more. C4 and RPG are nice Ave the change is good but beyond that I didn’t feel I was getting
@ParsnipHero I've seen some great C4/RPG plays, and the hammer on heavies is no joke.
The health buff and the weird shield ability they have seems great as well.
I hope to get more into tournaments this week.
@Cherip-the-Ripper the hammer is no joke and a stray RPG on an objective has been fruitful for me getting kills on defending teams.
Probably going to give the game a rest though. I was disappointed to see there was no extensive controller mapping. I know this is a open beta but still. I have a hard time switching between FPS games. I was useless the first game or so in Halo Infinite after playing The Finals all weekend.
@ParsnipHero yh I totally get that. I wanna crouch with RS so bad man.
