Welcome to another day one Xbox Game Pass release! Gun Interactive's The Texas Chain Saw Massacre adaptation lands on the service today, delivering some online multiplayer mayhem for horror fans this August.
If you've played Dead by Daylight or Friday the 13th you'll know a little bit about what to expect here, but of course, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is putting its own spin on a similar style. We'll introduce this latest Game Pass drop down below.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (Console, PC, Cloud) - 7am PT / 10am ET / 3pm BST
"Take on the role of one of the notorious Slaughter family, or their victims, in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, a third-person asymmetrical horror experience based on the groundbreaking and iconic 1974 horror film. Experience the mad and macabre for yourself in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre."

I'll be giving this a whirl when I get back from work tonight 👍
@pip_muzz same for me. I can see myself playing for 30 minutes every so often
@pip_muzz Same here I've got it pre-installed ready
No use to me to be honest at the minute till I get a series x I'm not touching at 30fps to be honest its a live service game not my cup of tea at all but the set up of the game looks good though if I'm playing leatherface
Game is really nice! Some matchmaking problem, but it runs good, looks good and sounds excellent. Game play loop feels good.
Already slicing and dicing
Ohhhh about to download.
The game is decent. Played a few rounds of it. They polished the game much more than Friday the 13th. It’s fun, but at the moment I prefer Friday. Maybe because I understand it better. Though Friday was very buggy at launch, I liked the feel and the concept of the game. I haven’t run into any bugs yet in Texas, I just don’t fully know what to do yet. I’ll get there though.
