Xbox Game Pass: All Games Coming Soon In August 2023

Good month! Broforce, Texas Chainsaw & Sea of Stars for me. Another month well worth it.
Great to see Texas Chainsaw coming to Game Pass too. As a multiplayer only game I'd never purchase it due to the servers being switched off one day, but on Game Pass I'm all for it.

Sea of Stars is the game I'm looking forward to most for the rest of the year besides Starfield.

Nothing really for me in August, but September onwards is looking pretty stacked!

I'll try Texas Chainsaw Massacre because I love horror.

I feel like Celeste was already on Game Pass. Maybe it was removed and is coming back? Or did I get it from Games with Gold, maybe? I have yet to actually beat it, so however I got it, I should really get back into it. LOL!

I had Broforce on PS+ and beat it, but it was such a fun and ridiculous game that I might give it another whirl.

Sea of Stars is definitely on my want list.

The next couple of months on Game Pass are going to be insane!

A good month i think there will be a few more games though announced for August the only problem for me is texas chainsaw massacre only runs at 30fps on the series s I need buy a series x I think

@GamingFan4Lyf Celeste left Game Pass back in 2021 so good to see it returning.

I'm not sure if I'll play any of the games on the list
I've already played Celeste, I recommend it to anyone who doesn't played it yet, it's one of my favorite games ever, and though it's a platformer, it has a very good and emotional story

Is it just me or did they just remove console gamepass completely from the rewards menu?

I will definitely be playing Sea of Stars. Chained Echoes on Gamepass last year was one of my games of the year so I’m hoping sea of stars is of similar quality.

@pip_muzz Damn, is it multiplayer only? I was really looking forward to it, but only play singleplayer.

@Darude84 its just like the Friday the 13th game. It might add single player missions at some point but this is a game that needs to be played with people.

@Cashews wasn’t seeing it the other day. Not sure if they took it down with the new tiers coming out or if they close that loophole. How I paid for gamepass for over two years now.

@pip_muzz was a shame that happened to Friday the 13th. I know plenty of ppl that played that game religiously for a time.

@Alteredizzy1010 Don’t know that game. I don’t even have friends/connections on my consoles though so this doesn’t seem to be an option.

@Cashews Microsoft told me it was temporarily out of stock, but it's due to the new price increase, they have to set the new value system. When I renewed this month, the £1 offer was back up and they let me use that,so nice result 👍

That's a good strong August for me.

Can't wait for everspace 2, not enough space shooter games these Days.

Sea of Stars demo was good. I’ll be playing that one for sure.

@FatalBubbles I stopped it in the middle of my second battle (on the Switch) because I knew this was a game for me.

Technically speaking if you buy the $31 premium upgrade for Starfield it's on Gamepass in August. The very last day of August but still

I'm so happy Sea of Stars doesn't look like the same crappy pixel art junk we've been seeing for years now. For those too young to have experienced SNES games on a CRT, this is what it looked like to us. Not a bunch of blocky garbage.

Waiting for Sept 1st now! although I am looking forward to trying Sea of Stars right before on the 29th. I really enjoyed that demo.

I'm looking forward to Sea of Stars, the demo was great. Looks like it's free on both Playstation and Xbox services now.

It's a game I want on Switch, but I'll play it for free (technically) then wait for the Switch physical version to release and grab it there.
