Microsoft has revealed another six games that are leaving Xbox Game Pass in the latter half of August 2023, and it includes a few pretty big departures such as Immortality and Tinykin, among others.
Here's what's leaving Xbox Game Pass in late August 2023:
Xbox Game Pass: Leaving Soon (August 31, 2023)
Date | Game | Platform |
August 31 | Black Desert | Console, Cloud |
August 31 | Commandos 3 - HD Remaster | Console, PC, Cloud |
August 31 | Immortality | Console, PC, Cloud |
August 31 | Nuclear Throne | Console, PC, Cloud |
August 31 | Surgeon Simulator 2 | Console, PC, Cloud |
August 31 | Tinykin | Console, PC, Cloud |
As always, these games are available at a 20% discount until they're removed from Xbox Game Pass, so it may be worth grabbing anything you'd like to keep before the discounts expire.
If you're thinking which of these could be worth blasting through before the end of the month, we must mention Immortality. We rated the game a full-on 10/10 in our Pure Xbox review last year - this is a "cinematic masterpiece" you don't want to miss!

Very sad to see Tinykin leave, an absolute gem.
I've played Immortality, but not finished it so I'll have to make sure to do that soon as I really like it.
tinykin really was great. I just started until dawn last night but i think im going to put that on hold and work through immortality
@Feffster Agreed.
Super little game.
If you get the chance, "play" immortality, you should take it! The fact they effectively made 3 movies for a fmv game blows my mind and really enjoyed the experience. On Netflix subscription still but would think this would work best with controller
@Reptilio great little game
Play Immortality now. This is one of the best and most unique games on Gamepass currently and it’s a huge loss to be off the service.
Agreed with all of the above. Tinykin is loads of fun. And much respect for Immortality - from concept, to content, to mechanics, super bit of game making here.
I played (and loved) Telling Lies, but for whatever reason just couldn't get into Immortality. I'm unlikely to have time to try it again with so many new games on the horizon.
Tinykins, however, I did finish. I thought that was brilliant.
Yes I was the same - loved Tinykin but Immortality was tough to love…
Aight. Starting immortality tonight.
Tinykin looks appealing to me! I’ll have to check it out before it leaves GP! Thanks for the list and recommendation to all.
Dammit I've been meaning to play Tinykin and Immortality since they were added to gamepass. I'm starting Tinykin tonight.
Damn, Tintken has been far in my backlog for months now. Guess I’ll push it to the front and play it this weekend. Heard it’s fantastic and also a short title, about 7-10 hours. I can definitely beat it before it leaves.
Immortality is great but it is in Netflix games now and actually quite nice to play on a tablet.
@Kaloudz Tinykin is really worth playing bud. Really chill...I bounced of immortality. I liked the weirdness of the clips but it was just a click fest.
Just started Tinykin the other day so I’ll be sure to power through that in the next two weeks, the right kind of chill game I was looking for.
The dude in Immortality is a wannabe Jared Leto.
@Kaloudz ahhh shame mate. I just gave it a try cause people was raving about it when it released on GP and was super surprised by how good and chill it was. One of those "Power Wash Simulator" type of games
Immortality should have stayed indefinitely. Such a masterpiece and one of the best reasons to subscribe to Game Pass.
