Fan of '90s games? Well, Xbox has got a few interesting new releases in the lineup this week, including a port of a 1997 FPS, a sequel to a management game from the early '90s, and a couple of modern titles with '90s inspirations.
The first of those is Chasm: The Rift, which was released a year after the original Quake and is now just making its Xbox debut for the first time. The second is World Championship Boxing Manager 2, which as mentioned is a sequel to the 1990/1991 version, and the final couple of '90s inspired games are Verdict Guilty and Nightmare Reaper.
We'll drop some details and trailers for each of these three games below.

In an unrelated note, the European Union just approved the Activision deal!
Chasm: The Rift seems cool, I'ma keep an eye out on it.
Yeah Chasm does look cool. It is a proper looking "Boomer Shooter" lol. I really like that new sub genre. As a 34 year old, It is funny to me that these are actually some of the style games that I played for the very first games in my life.
I wish these games would have just been thrown into Game Pass... Probably would have been better for the devs too.
Looking forward rise of the Triad at some point soon ISH!!
I had World Championship Boxing manager back on my C64. I sunk quite a few hours into it. Not sure if I would be into this new version as much as I was 30 years ago though.
I used to play a demo of Chasm on PC when I was little. It must have been a floppy disk I got with a magazine or something.
I tried finding it for ages as an adult but never realised it had a subtitle which is pro probably where I was going wrong!
Ooh Chasm! Totally picking that up when it releases. I remember downloading a demo of it in high-school and it is like a weird fever dream version of Quake. Definitely not as polished but if I remember correctly it has dismemberment which was really cool to see. Now if only we can get the Hexen and Heretic games re-released! Forget about Call of Duty. These are the games I want in the Xbox ecosystem with the Activision deal. Imagine ID or Machinehead making a new game in those series. Sign me up 😁
Blake Stone please!
Whoa, Chasm is coming to Xbox. Day 1 pick up providing it plays ok, that brings back memories...
WCBM2 better have a new version music of the Amiga version (which I now have stuck in my head)
