The long-rumoured Metal Gear Solid 3 remake was unveiled last night, and just like recent reports, the game is indeed coming to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, as well as PlayStation 5 and PC.
The above teaser trailer showcases a slither of what to expect with this reimagining, while the team at Konami has also released a selection of screenshots from the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake.
While they don't hint at much in terms of gameplay, these screengrabs do show off the game's impressive tech, and we must admit - the environments on show look pretty darn good! Here's how the game is shaping up so far:

It's been a while since Metal Gear has graced our gaming screens, so we're very much looking forward to this upcoming remake. Expect it to land on Xbox Series X|S day one - whenever Konami deems it ready to launch!
What do you reckon to these fresh MGS screenshots? Leave your thoughts down below.

That’s some tasty wood right there.
@grumpypotato Really hope we have the ability to turn off film grain and pick a high frame rate mode. I haven’t played a Metal Gear game before (besides the demo for Snake Eater 3D back in like 2012 on my 3DS) so I’m pretty excited for this remake!
@grumpypotato @Altaria_97 I also hope for 60fps. I played it on 3DS and it was not ideal. I remember huge pixels flying everywhere... in stereoscopic 3D.
@Utena-mobile Yep, it gave me the headache. I beat it but I'll enjoy it more on Xbox and hopefully in 60fps. I even had the Circle Pad Pro. I sold both the game and peripheral.
I'll check the other thread tomorrow where Kaloudz, you and I were having an interesting conversation. Time to sleep 💤. It's been an interesting day after the first Sony show in 18 months that happened to be a third-party show 😃.
@Altaria_97 I never got embroiled with mgs or mgs2 like some of my mates, played them briefly of course, didnt see the allure. I was more of a wipeout / final fantasy fan. But once I got into the swing of mgs 3 (the subsistence version I think) well I was a fan for life. Then went back and played the others properly!
Long as the MGS collection is on Xbox, I'm happy.
