As noted, there are actually two Xbox Mini Fridge variants in the wild these days, with the second version (the one sold by Walmart) being slightly smaller and therefore cheaper than the original, but offering a few improved features.

I've got the original, larger sized one. It's ridiculous and I love it. And although I knew it wasn't a true fridge I didn't figure it would eventually "defrost" itself and dump some water out the door when I opened it later. My basement is generally cool enough so I leave it unpowered but stocked. I'm happy with it.

It’s a neat novelty but I’ve heard pretty rough stuff from the 2 people I know who have them. Not sure if the v2 is much different. Good price tho for those that were on the fence!
I got the smaller one rather cheap on Christmas, never plugged it in, still on the box. Was kinda of an impulse purchase. Heard some stories here about what tends to happen to them, so, one these days I likely will just find a spot for it to decorate and let it be just that, decoaration.
Perhaps also storage.
I've not seen one. But read they are really junk and cheap materials. $40 still too much?
My youngest just got one last week. I’m going back to the store to have them price match.
I actually haven’t had problems with mine. The main issue is it doesn’t hold much.
