Xbox has announced today that plans are in the works to improve the new Xbox Home UI that's currently being tested by some Xbox Insiders, with current experiments being "paused" ahead of bigger updates coming soon.
Exact details on what to expect haven't been shared just yet, but the Xbox team says that it's heard feedback about the new dashboard feeling overly crowded, with plans to improve this moving forward:
"We heard from you that the changes to the top of Home did not leave enough space for you to enjoy your backgrounds and that it felt crowded. We’re working to balance the experience, accessibility, function, and the needs of our community and bring you a great and refreshed Home experience."
Whenever these new updates are rolled out, they'll likely only be made available to members of the Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead rings of the Xbox Insider program for now, with a full public rollout to follow at some point in 2023.
It was mentioned all the way back in September of last year that there were plans to incorporate fan feedback into the final design of the new UI, and clearly Microsoft is following through with this. Let's hope for some big improvements!
