Warner Bros. has surprisingly announced a brand-new Harry Potter game for PC and consoles today in the form of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, with playtest signups now live on the game's website.
We don't know too much about Quidditch Champions just yet, other than it's a standalone experience featuring a "competitive, multiplayer setting", allowing you to play solo or team up with friends / random players online.
"Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is a complete, standalone Quidditch experience, developed by Unbroken Studios. It engages players in the sport of Quidditch and other broomstick adventures alongside friends in a competitive, multiplayer setting."
Interestingly, the game has actually been in development for multiple years now at Unbroken Studios, which is a developer that has also been assisting Rocksteady on the recently delayed Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League.
The first (limited) playtests of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions are set to begin as soon as this week, and you can note your preference for Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S when signing up. That said, it should be mentioned that the game's official FAQ page says that the exact consoles for the game "have yet to be confirmed".
