I would be excited, or at least give a care, if they would find a way to incorporate my WiiU and mobile purchases. But I refuse to invest anymore into a system that won't transfer my purchases.
Because there is no mentioning about a transfer of tables that are already in your library , I guess that you need to buy everything again?
I’m so excited by this I’ve played zen pinball since the early days , and yes it is annoying having to pay yet again , but all the old tables have been rebuilt with a new engine ,plus we get the Adam’s family ! does anyone know the full list of the 80 tables ? I’m hoping the marvel ones will be part of the list
I've been importing and exporting tables since the very first Pinball FX. Some tables have always been lost during this process, but the old games don't go away. So I'm not too bothered if that happens again.
Did it need an update though?
It looks the same to me, and I don't see how it could play better.
I really like pinball but they should sell the game with all the tables for a reasonable price not in packs where you have to buy 3 tables to get the one you want lol , hoping it supports the dualsense though the rumble on the switch is really good
Have a bunch of tables on Switch and don't want to buy again. But sweet Pinball action on next gen . . . I'm torn.
Anyone know if Zen has ever done Fire!? Played for hours on end at the bowling alley in HS.
I’ve got Star Wars pinball on the Oculus Quest 2, that’s really good. Might try this.
I've enjoyed all the Pinball FX/Zen Pinball games, across multiple formats. Like everyone else I do find it frustrating to keep buying the same tables, but then lots of people buy FIFA every year. 🤣
Joking aside, it's a little frustrating. The good thing about Xbox is that you can play Pinball FX 1-3 on your Series or One generation console so if you have amassed a large library of tables you can still play them.
I personally will have a look and see how much the tables are, I suspect outside of sales I won't be buying into this version.
As others have mentioned, I will have to see the pricing structure. I have tables on Xbox, Switch and WiiU…. Love the games, but it really is a big mess with the pricing structure.
There was another Pinball game a few years ago that was alot better then Pinball FX, I don't remember the name right now, but I wish they would come back, their were far superior to Pinball FX.
@Tasuki The Pinball Arcade? I loved their game too. Sadly they lost the rights to most of thier big name classic tables, to Zen, so they started to be remade in Pinball FX. It's a shame really.
I own the tables I wanted in it so I am ok, but no new purchases of those tables can be made now. Licensing issues, they plague gaming.
@Tasuki as @JetmanUK said it was the pinball arcade they rebranded as stern pinball arcade but don't have nearly as many tables because they lost the rights to them still a few bangers though I've got it on switch & the rumble is really cool
@Would_you_kindly This isn't correct. What happened was Farsight Studios released a spin off of The Pinball Arcade game called Stern Pinball. As the title sounds it was specifically for Stern tables only.
You can still buy tables in The Pinball Arcade, yeah they lost most of their top quality ones when the Williams license was lost, but you can buy Stern and Gottlieb tables in it. They seem to be running both games side my side.
Theres a nice physical version of Stern Pinball on the Switch, well worth picking up. 👍🏻
@JetmanUK you can't get it physical I bought it off Amazon ages ago for like a tenner it's just the box with a download code inside it
@Would_you_kindly Unless I'm miss remembering, it's late here, they issued a cart and then issued the code version as they changed the tables included. I'm not at home so I cant check which tables are included in my cart. We could compare.
Perhaps it was an import from another country? Not sure.
@JetmanUK mine was a download code in a box I'm from the UK
@Would_you_kindly Me too.
If I remember correctly it was an issue with the ACDC table. Do you have that in your download version?
@JetmanUK yeah got the ACDC table
@Would_you_kindly @JetmanUK Yep that was it. The had the original tables as they were. Pinball FX made changes to some of the tables, which is stupid because it's not the same as the original.
@Would_you_kindly I'm still not home so I can't grab mine, but here's the mythical item that doesn't exist. 😉😜

I'll check what tables are on mine, it would be nice to know the difference.
If you have a look at the second photo on the listing it notes the tables included on the back of the case. How does that compare to your digital copy?
@lechugajr this is me i own almost all of the tables on the switch and i wont rebuy unless its one giant pack for less then 40$
@Sol76 Alla purchases made on Pinball FX (new one on Epic) will be transferable to your system of choice (as long as FX is released on that platform). See info here:

Old tables bought on other older versions and systems will not. Which is nothing strange and it is more or less always that way.
@JetmanUK yeah I've got all 11 on mine
@JetmanUK @Tasuki I have pinball arcade on the series x , 87 tables in all and there are still 5 or 6 that can be bought. I also have stern pinball on the series with same 11 as the switch. The only tables you cant get for pinball arcade is ACDC and 2 or 3 more. Pinball arcade on the PC has 100 tables
Will prob check this new one out for the new tables, but like most i dont wanna rebuy tables
@GarbonZoni Cool, I don't know how many I have on Pinball Arcade, I just remember that when the Williams tables were being removed I bought them all, there was no sale so I spent a stupid amount on them. 😬🤣 Don't regret it though, I really like how Farsight have recreated the tables.
Have you tried Zaccaria Pinball? That's pretty good too, some of the tables are very primitive, but it's a good addition to your collection if you like the Pinball Arcade and Stern Arcade style games.
@JetmanUK I spent a lot on those same tables bud, money well spent. I love pinball and have spent hundreds of pounds across the different games, I still play all of them regular.
Yeah I have Zaccaria, as you say a little primitive but still fun to play. Been playing a lot of Stern recently. Can't get enough of ACDC premium
Hate Williams tables but love others but Brought tables on fx2 xbox and ps and then same on fx3 brought some new tables as well as some not porting over. Can't go through this AGAIN
Like a lot of others, I've been playing Pinball FX since it was first released, I love pinball. I've put a lot of my hard earned cash into buying tables over the various versions, so having to do it again does feel a bit grating. I do like this new version, but it doesn't feel like there is much of a connection with the community as was talked about. They still have leaderboards, but I was hoping for a bit more of a stats page like FX3 had. In FX3 there used to be a news feed highlighting what your friends had scored on certain tables, so you instantly felt like you had to go try and beat it... I just don't see that anymore. FX3 also had a Wizard and Superscore that basically tallied up all your friends table scores together with yours, it was fun... again this is missing. So yeah, somethings just missing....
