As if we all needed another excuse to play some form of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, a Halo Infinite player has now built the city of Whiterun directly in forge mode - and both Xbox and Bethesda have jokingly responded.
Bethesda popped up with this pun first, relating to one of the Skyrim city's most notorious citizens.
A few hours later, Xbox threw this together, perfectly marrying Halo's 'needler' spikes with the infamous 'arrow to the knee' Skyrim meme. If you know, you know.
It's great to see both Xbox and Bethesda engage with the community in this way, especially bringing jokes and memes into the fold. After all, the Forge build does no harm to either game - in fact, both series' are now owned by Microsoft anyway!
All jokes aside, this Forge build of Whiterun actually looks pretty fantastic, and creations like these are exactly the reason Halo Infinite will continue to grow and evolve over the coming years. Well, this and Mario Kart track remakes of course!
Would you explore Whiterun in Halo Infinite? Let us know down in the comments below.

Brilliant work all round! That needler to the knee had me laughing.
That adventurer in the Xbox response is doing better than Kat. 😢

@Ocat Their is a browser... so you can easily find games with randoms and choose whatever map/mode you want out of the thousands
Ahh, the fun that can happen when copyrights aren't an issue.
@Leo_ascendent Absolutely nothing to do with it lol. You see these kinds all the time. Hell, a VR game I have has Blood Gulch in it.
