It's the holiday season once again and to celebrate all-things festive, SEGA is giving away another free DLC item in its latest release, Sonic Frontiers. This time around it's a 'holiday cheer suit'.
This will new apparel for Sonic can be used to "bring some holiday spirit" to the Starfall Islands. To equip it, you'll need to access it from the title menu and then select "extra content" in the submenu.
This isn't the only DLC item added to Sonic Frontiers in recent times. The game has already received some Monster Hunter-themed content as well as a special set of shoes, based on the ones in Sonic Adventure 2.
In 2023, Sega will also be releasing more DLC for Sonic Frontiers - containing new modes, characters, and story content. This will be delivered across three separate updates throughout the course of the year.

I don't normally do costume DLC, free or paid, as I don't like putting the game out of universe and breaking immersion. But heck, I'm gifting this to myself as my sort of traditional Christmas family friendly game like getting a new toy, so dressing Sonic in a Santa hat sounds like a good time!
