If you've been playing Sonic Frontiers on the Xbox Series S, you might have been aware of an unfortunate performance issue that has troubled this specific version until now.
Earlier this month, around the time of the new game's release, Xbox Series S users found the game was locked at 30FPS. There was supposedly a workaround to resolve this (which didn't appear to work), but SEGA has now also issued a new patch - meaning users shouldn't have any problems changing the game to its 'Performance mode' setting.
Apart from this fix, here's what else you can expect from the latest update:
- Fixed an issue where Xbox Series S owners were not able to select Performance mode to prioritize framerate.
- Fixed an issue where the Kronos Island Titan boss would disappear after attempting the fight.
- Fixed an issue where one of the Chaos Island Icons was showing as locked even after completion.
