The action RPG cyberpunk shooter The Ascent will be getting some new paid DLC across all platforms including Xbox on 18th August.
This is a new story DLC, taking place after the events of the main game - with players gaining access to new main missions and side quests. In order to play them, you'll have to complete the main game first.
Alongside these missions, there'll also be new missions, characters, locations and enemies. It'll set you back £7.99 or your regional equivalent. Take a look at the teaser trailer above to see what you can expect.
Will you be returning to The Ascent to try out this new DLC? Leave a comment below.

Whilst I was eager to try The Ascent, after playing it for a couple of hours, I found it to be quite boring. It's an absolute beautiful game but content-wise it was really boring.
I liked the game and finished it but cannot see myself paying a dlc for a game I do not own
Did the co-op in this ever get patched? Tried it with my brother at launch and it was all kinds of buggy even in just the first couple of hours; sound issues, quests givers not showing for him as the guest, drop outs from the session. Gameplay seemed fun but it was too much hard work.
Incredibly dull game.
I love this game, not dull at all, will see if I can pre-order this DLC.
I loved this game. the artwork and the music and the setting. but it was just so dam difficult. I just could not defeat the first mech type ed209 type thing. so frustrating.
I was obsessed with The Ascent. Not quite 100% on achievements due to it being buggy - need to die 100 times again and thats done. Its been months but still installed waiting for DLC so looking forward to supporting them
Honestly the environment is stunning, and the audio! Far out I've never enjoyed a twin stick isometric like I did this one. The minute I started playing it I fell in love with the aesthetic and audio.
Story was a non event but bloody great otherwise. An awesome achievement for a small team. A more compelling and engaging story and its delivery would really lift this game.
@MattWithoutFear I have played co op a while after release and some relevant patches and I don't recall any major issues.
@trukme thanks!
