It's your latest Game Pass drop day today, June 21st, with two more games coming to the library. While the back half of June is perhaps a little quieter than usual, there are some heavy hitters arriving through the next week or so.
First up, Shadowrun Trilogy: Console Edition hits the service, bringing three classic Shadowrun titles to modern Xbox platforms. Then, Total War: Three Kingdoms heads to the PC library for folks who enjoy some strategy action on PC.
- Shadowrun Trilogy: Console Edition (Console, Cloud)
- Total War: Three Kingdoms (PC)
Here's a little more info on today's two new Game Pass titles:
Shadowrun Trilogy: Console Edition - Console, Cloud
The Shadowrun Trilogy comprises 3 cult tactical RPG games taking place in a dystopian cyberpunk future in which magic has re-awakened, bringing back to life creatures of high fantasy. Initially created as a tabletop RPG over 30 years ago, this one-of-a-kind setting that has gained a huge cult following during the past three decades.
Total War: Three Kingdoms - PC
Total War: THREE KINGDOMS is the first Total War game to take inspiration from a romanticised version of History. Influenced by Luo Guanzhong’s 14th century historical epic ‘Romance of the Three Kingdoms’, it follows the dramatic lives and deeds of near-mythical warlords and their retainers in 2nd to 3rd century China as they try to unite the country under their rule and forge the next great dynasty.

So; missed the train on Shadowrun completely. Is it worth the engagement?
Two legendary series that somehow I have never played. Sadly with the backlog and other more appealing games on game pass, this looks set to continue.
@themightyant right? - I still chuckle at the some in the community saying 'i've played everything, why is there not more free stuff?', and taking them at face value, I am very jealous of their seemingly abundant free time!
@antifyre 100%. I think they just have a very narrow taste window, which is fine, you like what you like. AND/OR they aren't willing to try out the indies and other brilliant titles on Game Pass. It's like my friends who have 'completed' Netflix. WTF?
Even if I took a 2 year sabbatical and dedicated myself completely to gaming I'd never be able to play everything already on my playlist, let alone all the new titles that come to Game Pass.
@antifyre Yep, absolutely! These are weird and fun RPGs with some great tactical play at their core. Enjoyed 1 and 2 immensely.
very nicey nice!
For me the vote needs a third option of 'neither'. Not complaining though, still playing sniper 5 + many others
