Once again, Ubisoft is letting us down. Don't get me wrong, Riders Republic looks cool, and the Mario + Rabbids 2 was neat, but there was nothing that really blew me away ... similar to the last five years. Oh well.
Well at least the Avatar thing looks kinda interesting. The rest was just typical stuff from the automated Ubisoft game factory.
Also what happened to Beyond Good and Evil 2?
The Avatar, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon and Mario + Rabbids reveals were the only thing that really piqued my interest
Ubisoft seems to be going further into live service territory so at this point they're barely holding my interest as a publisher
So where was that free to play division game
@Dezzy Practically a hair away from vaporware despite Michel Ancel saying it was still making good development progress even after he left Ubisoft
So far no showing has been that good, Xbox tomorrow then Nintendo Tuesday so let’s see what that brings.
I like Ubisoft as I enjoy assassins creed Valhalla and will enjoy far cry 6, so I can’t complain to much.
Great event overall i give it a 9/10. Well done Ubisoft..
That Avatar game got my attention.
Ubisoft was maybe too soft. Ugh, I really hope Xbox and Bethesda deliver tomorrow
@A01 2 new games?
Mario + Rabbids
Just Dance 22
Avatar
Rocksmith
Rainbow Six Extraction
Riders republic
Far cry Blood Dragon Remastered
Some of these had been announced before but this is the first time we see any significant info on all of them. They are not for everyone, but I think this is a very well rounded offering, company health wise, it seems they are on a very good spot this year (if they can release these all on schedule, far cry 6 was supposed to come out last February.)
I know this is an unrealistic expectation but after playing Valheim, I keep hoping Assassins Creed introduced real free form building.
Maybe the next entry in the series… Settlement/Base building has been a big part of the series since AC2, but I think it’s time they just give us the tools to build as we see fit. Replace fixed buildings with specific tools needed for each NPC.
Restrict the building area, just borrow ideas from Fallout 4, but let us just build out own town. Would actually keep me playing the game for way longer.
@A01 I think you might be expecting too much from a single publisher. They have a lot of unreleased games on the pipeline, can’t expect them to announce a ton of previously secret games when they have so much in the works still.
Also: just dance is predictable, but still a new game announcement.
@Tharsman Rocksmith isn't a game, Extraction & Riders were already announced and Blood Dragon is a remaster
It's really just Just Dance, Mario + Rabbids and Avatar in terms of actual new games or games we didn't know about, and only one of those was genuinely unexpected since one was leaked and the other was f*cking Just Dance
