CD Projekt Red has announced that the release of Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed until November 19.
Despite confirming that the game is finished both content and gameplay-wise, the company stated that "with such an abundance of content and complex systems interweaving with each other, we need to properly go through everything, balance game mechanics and fix a lot of bugs."
In the statement you see above, CD Projekt Red also apologised for making fans wait even longer for the release of Cyberpunk 2077, and noted that journalists are starting to play the game this week, with their previews set to be published right after the Night City Wire event on June 25.
Are you happy to wait for a more polished product? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Maybe this date is to coincide with the XSX release date? 🤔 Should've always of been a next gen game anyways. I have plenty to keep me going until then
With everything going on in the world,.mainly the pandemic it's no surprise. I am sure alot of games will be delayed this year.
I’m cool with this. Means I get to actually start from zero on the most powerful console on the planet 😎
Although that’s going to be tough... I’ll have to figure how to play this, halo infinite, and who knows what other XSX launch titles... I can see the backlog growing already 😅
Take your time, No need to rush a game out with a few bugs and glitches..
Hopefully this benefits consumers with a better launch quality and devs with less crunch.
Playing this bad boy on day 1 Series X. Looking like Halo will have to wait a bit hmmmmm...
I hope they take their time. And this should have been a next-gen game anyways.
I think it's actually a good idea to polish the game and release the game along with the new consoles even if the next-gen version/update takes longer because the new consoles play current-gen games anyway.
