The Mafia II And Mafia III Definitive Editions Appear To Be Releasing Tomorrow

Update (Mon 18th May, 2020 21:45 BST): Both Mafia II: Definitive Edition and Mafia: Trilogy appear to have been temporarily removed from the PlayStation Store. Mafia III: Definitive Edition remains on the store for now.

We'll let you know if/when we hear more, but otherwise expect more details following the official announcement of Mafia: Trilogy tomorrow (May 19th) at 5pm UK time.

Original Story (Mon 18th May, 2020 17:00 BST): We've already heard a lot about the upcoming Mafia: Trilogy courtesy of the Microsoft Store, including that a full-on remake for the original Mafia and a remaster for Mafia II are on the way. And now, the PlayStation Store has revealed even more details about what to expect from the package.

While the ground-up remake of Mafia looks like it won't be released until later in the year (August 28th), both Mafia II: Definitive Edition and Mafia III: Definitive Edition are likely going to be available on Xbox One tomorrow, May 19th. Both of these games can already be downloaded from the PlayStation Store in Australia at a price of $49.95 each, or as part of the Mafia: Trilogy for $99.95.

As for what to expect, Mafia II: Definitive Edition has been remastered in HD, and will include all DLC releases as standard. Mafia III: Definitive Edition isn't mentioned to have been remastered - it might be more of a re-release (maybe with new content?) - and will include DLC available for free separately.

The Mafia: Trilogy package is still set to be officially announced tomorrow, May 19th.

Will you be picking up Mafia: Trilogy later this week? Let us know in the comments.
