Planetside 2 Will Come to Xbox... Eventually

Looks like Planetside 2 will be coming to Xbox One after all, but it may take a while.

In an interview with Polygon, Andy Sites - Director of Development at Daybreak Games - was asked what was next for Planetside 2 and whether or not we will see the game brought to Xbox One.

"Right now, our focus is PS4, but we're absolutely looking at Xbox One. Once we get PS4 done, we're going to start working on Xbox One work. We would love to do it all at once, but we want to get PS4 out first."

Planetside 2 has been in beta on PS4 for a while now and its appearance on Xbox One has been speculated about for even longer. Earlier this year, it was announced that Sony had sold SOE (Sony Online Entertainment) to the investment company Columbus Nova and was re-branded to Daybreak Game Company. Since then, it been speculated that Planetside 2 - as well as DC Universe Online and H1Z1 - would eventually come to Xbox.

Based on Sites' statement, plans are in motion - for Planetside 2 at least - and its only a matter of time.
