Hmm, Redfall is about the only one I'll be trying out if that lot.
Redfall alone makes this the best month this year for Gamepass. Hope it turns out to be solid
Great month even outside of Redfall. Cassette Beasts has been getting amazing reviews and can’t wait for it to come to console. The first Fuga was awesome so glad the sequel is on GamePass. Ravenlock looks good and The Bunker has the potential to be the best of the Amnesia games. Good stuff!!!
Cassette Beasts is so far away! I’ll probably not beat it but I’ll at least give it a try at some point.
when is team cherry coming back from the store with the milksong
Sold on Cassette Beasts and Amnesia The Bunker. Definitely subbing for this month.
Looking forward to redfall!
@WaffleBoat If they're anything like my dad, they'll never come back.
Eh, I've only heard of one of them (Redfall), and it doesn't interest me at all. I mean if they wanted to interest anybody surely they would have given it some sort of name.
What I want to know is when is Microsoft's acquisition spree going to start bearing fruit? It's been years and years. If Starfield ends up being meh then man. It's sad that each platform only has about one big game per year, but that's every platform except Xbox because there's been straight up zero for as long as can remember.
Honestly, probably Railway Empire 2. If the controls are decent at least.
Even if I had people to play Redfall with I'm not sure I'd play it over previous games that did the same thing. That's not to say or imply it's bad, but the only thing that's seems different from what came before is that the focus is on killing vampires. I'd be glad to be wrong, but it really just seems like more of the same.
On a side note, I'm really hoping the Game Pass Ultimate Perks for May are better than April's... and by 'better' I mean 'are actually a thing'. Seriously, most months are underwhelming but they didn't even try this time. There were 4 maybe 5 Perks the whole month and they were all bad F2P bundles.
@somnambulance I'll wait to see how Redfall turns out, but IDK if it can top the shadow drops of GoldenEye & Hi-Fi Rush in January.
Prepare to be disappointed by Redfall. I’ve not liked the look of it since the initial reveal and everything I’ve seen since makes it look mid. It looks like a game from 10 years ago and it doesn’t even run at 60 on series x but that’s the least of its problems imo.
The review embargo lifting one hour before the US launch is rather concerning...

That aged like soft cheese sadly.
@shoeses Hi-Fi Rush is still the star this year, Goldeneye was an interesting curio.
This entire comment bank had aged like milk.
Terraria, was that you?
