So I was excited for back 4 blood, still am, but the good life has my full attention right now. It looks ridiculously amazing despite how bad it looks. I know my wife is going to have a blast. I guess I'll have to session back 4 blood for two days before the good life releases.
Game pass is seriously shooting on all cylinders lately ππ
Way too many games, not enough time.
Itβs amazing that every single one of the announced games so far is a day one release. Iβm actually looking forward to The Riftbreaker.
Age of Empires 4 is also joining Game Pass on October 28th for PC.
Avowed will be on gamepass one day.
@Xeno_Aura Of course! I've added that to the list.
@FraserG
According my gamepass app gonner 2 have aready left gamepass as of the 1st
Gonner2 has already gone, and Vesperia is going today.
If you have already downloaded Vesperia, it will still let you play it for now, but it wont let you download it anymore, even though the Install button is still there. If you click that, it'll take you to the queue, where the download will immediately stop.
@RedKnight34 Hmm, strange! That's supposedly not meant to be the case, but the Microsoft Store isn't advertising it as included with Game Pass (on console) either.
The Xbox Game Pass app on mobile is still saying it's included with console, PC and cloud though. π€·ββοΈ
@Tiny_Panza Again, very strange, but that's not meant to be the case. They're actually being advertised as leaving on the 16th of October on the PC Game Pass app (including Gonner2 and Tales of Vesperia), although that's typically off by a day. Microsoft will announce the dates formally this week when the new Game Pass titles are revealed.
@BrilliantBill I don't think it's as open and shut as that.
I love Game Pass personally but it's greatest strength is also one of it's biggest weaknesses. There is just so much to play.
Add to that for your average consumer, or enthusiasts with limited amount of time, picking and choosing specifically what game to play is often more important that having a huge library.
The curated quality on Game Pass is very high but if you only have time to play a few games you'll likely want those to be of YOUR choosing not just what's on Game Pass.
For most of us here, we prioritise gaming time, so Game Pass is ideal, but for the wider many i'm not convinced it is a great fit quite yet.
@BrilliantBill It's not just that there are too many, it's that it isn't the specific games many want to play. If I only had time to play a few games i'd want to play the very best ones and these aren't (yet) launched on Game pass on the whole.
And having choice is not always a plus for many people either. (look at the stats for how long people spend browsing Netflix over watching Netflix as an example)
Personally I think the quality on Game Pass is simply brilliant, and the curation is truly excellent, which is a huge plus for ME.
But I still don't think it's a good fit for many.
@FraserG I hadn't seen mlb the show mentioned as leaving, but I noticed today the icon was missing in my list, searched for it, no results. Looks like it's gone? After the deep sale? With no notice? Interesting (signal console war conspiracy theory )
@NEStalgia The Microsoft Store seems to be acting quite strangely at the moment β I can't imagine they'd just remove it without saying anything!
@FraserG It's definitely a mystery (or intrigue.) It still shows up in the list if you just browse the website Game Pass pages. But if you go into it, it's no longer showing the "Included with Game Pass" button/icon. And, no notice it was being removed.
It could be a coincidence, but it had that shockingly cheap sale last week, and GP games often go for the deep sale just before they leave. It would make sense, but, then it's odd that there was no announcement of it leaving, and it's still not removed from the browsable list on the site.
