Lies of P: Mad Donkey Boss Guide

The Mad Donkey in Lies of P is a miniboss of sorts that you'll encounter as you set out to meet up with Geppetto. This is a fairly straightforward encounter, and one you'll need to engage in as our furry foe is blocking the path across a bridge leading to...well...the rest of the game. Let's take a look at how to brush him aside.

So, we're not gonna beat about the bush with this one. We rolled right through Mad Donkey by simply destroying him with throwable flame bottles and by circling round his wild swings to stab him with a highly damaging rear attack.

Stock up on throwables, get yourself some electricity applied to your blade and then hit this guy hard. As he swings around with his weapon, make sure you're locked onto him and circle around to his back so you see the three slash marks indicating you can initiate a rear attack.

There really is nothing more to this one. Stand back and watch as the fight starts, just to get a read on how he moves, then get busy battering him down. For your efforts you'll be rewarded with his outfit, the Mad Donkey's Hunting Apparel and Mad Donkey's Mask (which we love), the Enigma Assembly Tool, Krat City Hall Key, a Hidden Moonstone and you'll also receive another Pulse Cell, giving you a total of four heals. Good job!
