Will Manor Lords be on Xbox? The medieval strategy game has attracted a large amount of attention over the past few months, to the point where it's become Steam's most wishlisted title ahead of its April 2024 release.

There's clearly a lot of interest in seeing an Xbox version of this game, and the good news is that it has been talked about by the developer, "Slavic Magic". So, here's everything we know about Manor Lords on Xbox so far:

Is Manor Lords Coming To Xbox?

Yes, Manor Lords is confirmed to be getting an Xbox release.

Back in late 2023, it was mentioned that the Xbox version would be coming "shortly" after the PC launch in April of 2024. However, recent updates seem to indicate that we could be waiting a fair while until the Xbox version arrives:

Nevertheless, it has been reiterated on many occasions that Manor Lords' Xbox version is a key focus for the team, and although it sounds like it'll be an Xbox exclusive when that happens, there might be plans for other consoles too.

What Is Manor Lords' Release Date?

Manor Lords has a release date of April 26th, 2024 for PC. This is an early access release, which means it's launching as part of the Xbox Game Preview program on the Microsoft Store.

The PC version of Manor Lords will also be playable with the PC Game Pass program from day one. If you're either a PC Game Pass subscriber or an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, you'll be able to play it at no extra charge.

Manor Lords doesn't yet have a release date for Xbox, but we're hoping it'll arrive in later in 2024.

I Haven't Heard Of Manor Lords Before. What Type Of Game Is It?

Manor Lords is described as a "medieval strategy game featuring in-depth city building, large-scale tactical battles, and complex economic and social simulations." Amazingly, it's the brainchild of just a single developer, Greg Styczeń.

Against all odds, the game has racked up millions of Steam wishlists since its announcement back in 2020.

Here's a bit more information about what you can expect, along with a few screenshots:

"Manor Lords is a strategy game that allows you to experience the life of a medieval lord. Grow your starting village into a bustling city, manage resources and production chains, and expand your lands through conquest."

"Inspired by the art and architecture of late 14th century Franconia, Manor Lords prioritizes historical accuracy wherever possible, using it to inform gameplay mechanics and visuals alike. Common medieval tropes are avoided in favor of historical accuracy, in order to make the world feel more authentic, colorful, and believable."

Those are all the important details we know about Manor Lords as things stand. It's still early days for the Xbox release, and we're not 100% sure whether it'll arrive in 2024 yet, but at least there's the PC Game Pass version in the meantime!
