Hello, I have a question maybe some of you could answer If I bought the bundle on Microsoft Store, but after I buy the game on Steam, Will I be eligible to get the Bundle content on my steam game? I ask that because Forza Horizon 5 had the same kinda launch and some of you already had this experience.
Guess I'm becoming a kiwi again for a day.
@GASEOUS i'm pretty sure no, you're locked to the platform. But I have no experience with this but seems most logic.
Game pass ultimate members should have early access as well. Since those folks are paying a premium versus regular game pass.
@GASEOUS Some seem to hate the Microsoft Store, I don't understand why. This is one of the biggest benefits of the MS Store. I love Steam, will buy everything I can through there unless the game is a Play Anywhere title. It also may restrict people from playing Cloud based versions of games they have purchased as well. If it is locked behind Game Pass that's a pretty shady move by Microsoft. You either own the game or you don't.
@Maddie47 It's £26.99 with the 10% Game Pass discount
@iplaygamesnstuff yeah, I kinda 100% agree with you, but to say by myself, despiste ALL the flaws Microsoft Store is my Second favorito Store after Steam, I dont mind own games there at ALL, play anywhere is fantastic and the only reason I want to have Forza on Steam is for My Steam Deck only.
@Thrussted I'm expected to be this way, but to be Fair, there Will be Cross save between the two and you Will need to have a Microsoft account so for me that open some space for doubt.
@GuyinPA75 premium? Thats not premium you pay to get ea play and pc/xbox gamepass let them get some of money from early access from poeple willing to pay
@TakeItEasy Cool you ordered early access. Hope you enjoy. Game pass ultimate is called ultimate. It would and should be ultimate in having some early access. Better perk than having world of tanks every month.
@GuyinPA75 yes day 1 pc xbox gamepass ea play early access free DLCs free smart watch and even better a free wife lol
@iplaygamesnstuff Play Anywhere is a huge feature in my eyes and playing the MS store PC versions as a trade off is no hardship. I don't see anything nefarious about the only MS digital Store version offering Play Anywhere or XCloud. They're the a platform holder twice over, publisher, own the dev, and have a store. No surprise they reserve some incentive to buy from them.
Maybe Xbox will one day extend XCloud to Steam or Epic purchases, or strike a deal with Nvidia to host. Another question is when builds out XCloud PC and how quickly overreaching regulators jump on them if it's built on Azure & Windows.
@GASEOUS No, the Steam version is a totally different version. DLC does not carry over. Neither do features (Play Anywhere, cross-save).
The one weird partial exception I encountered was with Dishonored 2. I own it on Steam and it was added to Game Pass console & PC. At the point, I had not had a chance to start (backlog piling up). Game Pass and MS rewards points are good at pointing you in a direction and giving you a kick in the @ss. The weird part is that I was away and launched D2 on my Steam Deck. My saves from the Windows PC version were loadable (though out of sync).
Skipping premium this time, there's too many things I am unsure about with this release. I can easily wait a few more days anyways.
@GuyinPA75
no early access with Xbox gamepass ultimate.
i downloaded the game already so i can start directly when its released
Updated the guide for this week's Game Pass release!
@GuyinPA75 You already get more on Ultimate Gamepass, if people can afford to pay for early access then that's fine by me, they get the Game early whilst also helping the devs find and sort out any bugs before Retail release date.
@GuyinPA75
In a perfect world sure, in a world where Microsoft is trying to keep Gamepass Ultimate from being stupid expensive, no.
@Maddie47
It was £26.99 (with GP) for a limited time before early access. Increased to the standard £29.99 once the game was in early access.
@GuyinPA75 That's not what you get with Ultimate, and you're already getting games on both Xbox and PC, as well as Xbox cloud gaming, The basic Game Pass does not have all of that. No idea why you're demanding Premium versions of the games on top as well. Did you want the price of Ultimate to go up? Because it would have to in order to include Premium Editions.
I'm impressed with it so far - however I normally play Forza for multiplayer, I'm extremely disappointed in the multiplayer, I just wanted to do what I did on Forza Motorsport 6 and 7 jump straight into a R class race, instead I have to wait for a practice session and other stuff.
Is there a way I can just jump into a R class race and not have to worry about practice?
fm looks worse than fmh5 in my opinion
