You've got your Xbox One now, so what are you going to play this week?

I think I'm going to be spending my non-reviewing time with ACIV: Black Flag, as I really want to get into the multiplayer after checking out Kate's article about it. Never played AC in multiplayer before at all, so it'll be...an education. Easy points for the competition for a fair old while, no doubt.

Oh, and Battlefield 4. Didn't really play that multiplayer on 360 either, so I'm looking forward to having a massively awful kill-to-death ratio for most of the week.

And Ryse and Dead Rising, of course.

How about choo?

Well I wont be playing any Xbox One games but that's cause I dont have an Xbox One yet.  I will however be playing The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.  I am really enjoying that games so far.  Anyone who's a fan of A Link to the Past needs to play this game if they haven't already.

Same here man. I remember finishing A Link to the Past I want to say it was over Christmas break 1992 at a friend's house and since that day, I've been waiting for a sequel. There have been some awesome Zelda games, I love Ocarina and Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword is great and the Oracle games were fun. But nothing has ever topped A Link to the Past for me. I just picked up my copy of A Link Between Worlds and will be playing it all week. There's a lot of games I've been hyped to play, but this is the one I've waited 21 years for and while it was a long time, from what I've played so far, it was worth it. I can't believe a 3DS game may steal my overall GOTY pick.

@Gamer83:  Actually Link's Awakening on the Gameboy was a sequel to A Link to the Past, which I just remembered now.  But yeah I know what you mean.  This just might take the spotlight away from AC IV as my GOTY.

I liked Link's Awakening too but I never really considered it a 'sequel' in the way I was looking for. I loved A Link to the Past so much that I wanted to revisit that world. When there was talk of a possible 3DS remake I was happy but slightly disappointed at the same time. When it was announced we'd be revisiting the A Link to the Past Hyrule but with a brand new adventure, it's the happiest I've been with a Nintendo announcement in a long time. I'm probably 8 or so hours in, have done a fair amount of story stuff, but most of the time it's just been exploring and I have to say, it's lived up to the promise and then some. I was worried that once the initial nostalgia wore off that I'd be a bit disappointed with the game, but so far, so good. Really, really good actually.

@Gamer83:  Get out of my head lol.  That's exactly how I felt about Link's Awakening and when they announced ALBW too.  I am bout 5 hours in but I have only done one dungeon the rest of time I have been exploring the land.

@Gamer83 & @Tasuki - Glad to hear you guys have been loving new Zelda. I'm only two dungeons deep at this point and I'm having a blast! Once I completely finish 3D World I'll invest majority of my downtime to ALBW. I can't wait.

@DRL

I'm a huge fan of the Super Mario series but haven't invested in Wii U yet, I have to ask... is 3D World the real deal? The E3 reveal trailer had me concerned but everything since looks awesome. Thinking I may get a Wii U with 3D World and DKC Tropical Freeze sometime mid-2014. Nintendo has been a little slow with the U games but 2014 is looking nice for all 3 hardware makers.

@DRL:  Oh yeah I am enjoying ALBW so much that I haven't even touched my PS4 in a few days.  I had a hard choice between that and 3D World but in the end for me Zelda always comes out on top.  I will hopefully getting 3D World for Christmas.

@Gamer83 - For me, 3D World is absolutely the real deal. It's a celebration of everything great about the Super Mario series, both 2D and 3D. And good call on Tropical Freeze. That's my most wanted game right now. I was crushed when they pushed the release from December to February.

@Tasuki - I don't blame ya! And waiting until Christmas should only make playing 3D World all the more special.

That's great to know. The E3 trailer made 3D World look like it would be nothing more than a 3D Land HD port with cat suits. I blame on poor marketing, Nintendo's advertising of the Wii U has been terrible, which is shocking to me because summer 2011 the advertising for 3DS/2DS has been fantastic. Regardless, I'm just happy the game turned out well. And DKC's delay kind of sucked, but it might've been a smart move in the long run. More time to polish the game and you don't have DKC and 3D World potentially hurting the other's sales. I'd put DKC as probably my most-wanted game for 2014 right after inFamous: Second Son and MLB 14 The Show. Quantum Break seems freaking fantastic too. Just looking at some release lists the other day, and 2014 already seems better than this year was and that's saying a lot because there was some terffic stuff the last 12 months.

I still feel the DKC delay was because of another major gap in the release schedule. It wouldn't be surprising to learn that Mario Kart Wii U won't launch until June, and Tropical Freeze was shifted to keep us from complaining about another drought. Granted, I have nothing to back this, just a feeling I get.

That's a damn fine list of most wanted games. I've never played inFamous before, but I will be buying a PS4 for Second Son. Not only does the game look awesome, but I dig the Seattle setting. Also, really pumped for next-gen baseball. Who's your team?

I'm a Yankees fan and I always pick them as the team I use in The Show, wouldn't seem right to play using a different one.

I don't know how I missed that in your signature. Haha. Oh man. Well, I've lived in three states during my life so I can't help but have a few favorite teams. Tigers and Dodgers are my AL/NL favorites, with the Phillies right behind. Darn it. Now you've got me thinking about baseball. Is it April yet?!!
