Anyone else play this? Playing the new Venom table right now and it is a lot of fun. I really dig what Zen Studios does with their tables even though I feel like The Pinball Arcade is the best pinball game on the market. Nice to have some wacky tables rather than real ones all the time like in TPA.

I'd take Pinball FX2 tables over Pinball Arcade any day.
I'd agree with Dave, although I see the attraction of The Pinball Arcade. I just don't like the table selection that the TPA devs have gone with. Every pack that comes out, I scan the list and hope for some actual pinball classics that they clearly would have the rights to (given the tables they're releasing), and they disappoint every time.
And then they ask for the price of a new game for a single "season" of tables.
When they fix the camera selection, and get the TRON Legacy, Hook, or Pirates of The Caribbean tables in play, we'll talk.
Pinball FX2 is where it's at, for me. Love it. Or Future Pinball with some custom-made fan recreations on PC.

The Black Knight 2000 is in Pinball Arcade. So shut it

A lot of the tables have been crowdfunded so they could afford the rights. They aren't cheap and can be a pain to obtain. So I wouldn't just assume they have the rights to a lot of these.
Its much more easier to go the Zen Pinball route than trying to recreate actual tables (not that Zen Pinball isn't a blast or made with a lot of care). As someone who loves pinball and has a lot of nostalgia for classic machines, the sheer dedication that Pinball Arcade has is crazy.

Ah, that makes more sense, then. Given the proliferation of various table manufacturer's logos all over the game, I just assumed that they'd actually bought up the rights to everything by the companies.
It makes it much more of an impressive effort. I do enjoy TPA...there's just something about it that puts me off each time I give it a spin. The camera, maybe? It seems to be a choice between not seeing everything clearly, or it zooming all over the place...whereas you don't get that with PFX2. I think mainly, because the PFX2 tables have been designed for the screen, as opposed to being forced to fit the screen.

I agree with that point for sure. I don't have an iPad but I bet the Pinball Arcade plays awesome on that due to the vertical orientation!
Kinda sucks for old arcade games and pinball tables that they can't really be properly implemented on TVs anymore.
