With this generation set to be surpassed later this year, what game have you enjoyed the most or spent the most time with since the 360 launched way back in 2005?

As far as exclusives... Halo 4. Overall favorite game of this gen though would be either Batman: Arkham City or Mortal Kombat 9.

Halo 3 (X360), Halo 4 (X360), Minecraft (X360, PC, & iOS), Xenoblade (Wii), Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii), & Super Scribblenauts (NDS) are my favorites. If I had to pick one, I'd say Halo 4. Xenoblade's story was better, and pushed the Wii to its limits more than Halo 4 did w/ the Xbox, but the multiplayer more than makes up for that. Scribblenauts (type it in and it's in the game) & Minecraft (place / mine blocks, etc. to build creations to survive and express creativity) are the 2 best new ideas.
Edit: Handhelds already have seen the next gen. I only have a 3DS (no Vita), and my favorite games on that are Mario Kart 7, Scribblenauts Unlimited, Fire Emblem: Awakening, Resident Evil: Revelations, & Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance. Also, the Wii U is out, though not many games are out on that yet (no Zelda, Metroid, Smash Bros., or Xeno game yet).

Well if we are talking Xbox 360 I would have to go with Borderlands.  I am not a huge FPS fan but this game is just perfect.  I love the cell shaded graphics the music fits this game really well and of course all the guns that you can find.  I am going to be playing this game well into the next gen.

This generation, I'd say that my favourite game would be Rock Band 3. I've easily spent more time playing the games in the Rock Band series than anything else, and even went as far as to buy a decent electronic drumkit to use with it.

Aside from that, I spent a long time with the FIFAs, and Red Dead Redemption. Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit is a memorable one that I've played a surprising amount of, too.
