Topic: Xbox Series X System Software Update

My Xbox Series X was updating and when it was at 90% seen in the link below, I held the Home Xbox button and it brought me back to the dashboard. At this point, I have no idea if the system finished updating. Did anything bad happen or did my system still successfully update in the background?

@DarthMaster09 it should not have updated fully and you should never do that for sure. In the worst case scenario you can end up with a bricked system...
Go to the settings and check if the version is the same as the latest on Xbox suporte website.

@Balta666 Can I fix this by factory resetting the console?

@DarthMaster09 first thing you should do is to check the version. If it os not at the latest try to update again. Only of that does not work you should try a factory reset

@Balta666 Does factory resetting the Series X fix the system software update issues? I really hope so because this is my last resort.
