@Balta666 Thanks mate. Gris is a great little game I played recently on Switch, look forward to joining the discussion.

My vote for October is As Dusk Falls been meaning to get to it, and just missed Immortality on Game Pass. Plus it's only 6.5 hours and I will likely still be out exploring the starfield.

One note, the line: "Write your votes in bold (put two asterisks around it) and try and keep it separate from any paragraphs." I think is incorrect. Bold is like Spoilers but with a [ b]bold[ /b], I don't think two asterisks work on this forum unfortunately, or at least don't for me... **bold**

@themightyant when it is mentioned two asterisks, it is just one each side of the text (I can confirm it works as I allways use it instead of the strong option).

@Balta666 I'll add a vote for As Dusk Falls and I'm intrigued by Gris as I've not heard of that one before. When I'm done with Halo MCC Legendary play through I'll get on that one.

@themightyant ahh it's between two asterisks not with 2 asterisks either side of it so bold (* bold*) will work but **bold** wont

So put two asterisks around it but one on each side 😅

@crippyd I am also intrigued by it as I have known about it since launch in 2018 but for some reason I never played it...

@Balta666 @ralphdibny Aha Thanks guys, it works. Learned something, was used to Markdown where one asterisk either side is italic, two is bold, three bold italic etc.

Edit: ahh the second one worked!!! That's underscore for italics lol

Edit 2: can't work out any more but I think there should be a symbol that will generate underline, strikeout and _subscript, just as there are the bbcodes for them

@ralphdibny strikeout is "del" in square brackets with a closing bracket like spoiler I believe.

Bold is "strong", "b" in square brackets or one asterisk either side.

Italics is "i" or "em" in square brackets or one underscore either side.

It seems like a mishmash of html, markdown and other forum codes. Confusing.

Anyway i've distracted from the topic at hand for long enough!

@themightyant yeah it's not quite all encompassing, maybe certain things are disabled for administration reasons. I always assumed it was BBCode with some differences because the BB links from ImgBB work here with no issues

Would be good if there was a full style guide available for these forums 👀 @antdickens

I thought about writing one myself based on what we've all worked out but maybe there is an official document out there already!

@Balta666 I think I'll give this month a miss, I tried Gris when it was on the service before and I didn't really vibe with it. For October, can I vote for Signalis? Seems like spooky season would be the best time to play it and got great reviews last year.

Started up Gris today. Since it's a short game and I need a break from Tokyo Xanadu, I figured I could participate this month as well.

Played it for about an hour and it basically reminds me of Journey, but in 2D. Pretty fun so far and the artstyle is rather cool. I'm playing it on PS5 and it feels right at home on this system. Having to press down on R2 as it's locked is still a cool feature of the DualSense. Hearing noises through the controller also makes the game more immersive. Really goes to show how many features the Series X controller is missing compared to the DualSense.

As for next month, I do want to participate again since it's Halloween month and this would give me an excuse to play a horror game from my backlog. @Balta666 I'll vote for Amnesia: The Collection, DOOM 3 and The Evil Within 2. Would be cool to play the second Evil Within as we played the first one two years ago on Game Club. Or rather, I think only I played it lol. I don't remember anyone else that played it.

@Balta666 Actually, I think I'll vote for two more games that I want to play that aren't horror titles but are fitting for Halloween: Ghostwire: Tokyo and Inside.

@Balta666 I'm still going to throw Sunset Overdrive out there - especially with Spider-Man 2 releasing in October.
