Chrono cross was a bit daunting at start with its singular way of dealing with level progression and magic but I am now getting into the groove (I believe I should be around the half point mark. It has too many playable characters and for the most part I just stick with s team and ignore everyone else unless I struggle with a boss (for the most part I prefer bigger health bar and heavy melee as had issues with one hit Kos at some point in the early game). Not sure how many playthroughs are necessary as it looks like it has lots of endings.
@Balta666 Chrono Cross has 12 endings, I did it on PS1. I will do it again on Xbox.
I am currently playing FFX, never played it on Xbox and I know it is the "superior" console version since it's in 4K and the PS4 version is only 1080p even on PS5.
@SenkiDala ok, but how hard is to get the endings. Do you need to replay the game multiple times or just some different options to the end. P.s: from what I have checked it looks like you can decide not to save kid earlier on
Very close to the end of a first playthrough of Chrono Cross. The game has been quite easy in comparison with other other JRPG of its time but I am enjoying it very much (although not big on the huge roster)
Pretty much just sea of stars. Lovely game so far. I only put it down last night since I had to work in the morning. I fully intend to power through this before starfield.
Also the surprise GP launch if call of the wild: the angler. I'm a sucker for all things fishing including video game fishing/mini game fishing. So I was sold from the get go. Only played a few minutes today but I'll dive in more later tonight.
@NintendoByNature I believe I will also beat it before starfield as I managed 7h in two nights after work so far.. the difficulty is not much to my liking and had to tweak it a bit but apart from it I am really enjoying it.
@Balta666 I know what you mean. I struggled with the first 2 bosses( only slightly though). I thought about tweaking it like I did with chained echoes, but I might try to pull through. At least accessibility options are there if I need them.
@Balta666 I think the only thing I did was make enemies less aggressive for chained echoes. Really enjoyed my time with that one. These 2 indie rpgs really set the standard for what developers should strive to do in that genre. Considering I've only bought CE digitally, and haven't bought sea of stars yet, I'd love a double pack physical release of these 2.
As I am playing Sea of Stars I am liking it but far from loving it. However as I got to a point where they have the messenger soundtrack... Oh the feelings of Joy! Got straight away on the store to rebuy the game on Xbox and get some of those achievements. That game is an absolute masterpiece!!
I just got to that part too I believe. In the spooky town, yes? I thought about buying the messenger again, but I could always just replay on my switch.
@NintendoByNature I am much further actually. Did not notice in that part but It may well be. I could replay it on switch but have to say I like to see the gamerscore going up so I have replayed some favourites of mine on xbox recently (like completing Celeste)
After finishing sea of stars I had to replay The Messenger and I still love its narrative, artstyle and gameplay. Have to say a much much better game imo.
