Topic: New controller right bumper problem

Hi, I just I just opened a new controller yesterday, right out of the box the right bumper button is very weak when pressed. The button works but compared to the left bumper it doesn't feel good.

I have had problems with stick drift before, then the other night on my old controller the left bumper broke when playing fifa, never had this problem before. Are bumper problems as common as stick drift? Controllers are getting a frustrating problem for me as this is now the 3rd controller in a row with problems...

Maybe this right bumper will be okay but if it's weak out the box I can't imagine what it will be like in a few months 🤔 I looked on YouTube and the fixes seem to be taking the controller apart which I would prefer to avoid. Just wondering if anyone else has had similar issues?

I did purchase the controller during black Friday sales last year, the shop said the controller was new and it had the Xbox seal otherwise I would be suspicious it was cheap because it was returned due to the dodgy button lol.

@MagicCat I had problems with bumpers before too. One series controller where it has a bit of friction and a joycon where it gets stuck at times (that one I tried to open once but could not manage to really solve it)
