Ever since Season 5 dropped, I've noticed Halo Infinite repeatedly freezing in the middle of a match, oftentimes during consecutive matches. One instance was so bad it even crashed the game. I contacted Xbox support and they recommended power-cycling both my Series X and modem/router. I did, and that seemed to solve the issue as I was able to immediately thereafter play multiple consecutive matches without any problems.
Then this morning it happened again, two matches in a row. I don't want to contact Xbox support because they'll likely just tell me to power-cycle again, and I shouldn't have to do that every time I want to play. Does anyone know what could potentially be causing this issue or of any possible long-term solutions?
I never had a problem like this back in the 360 days. What happened? Is it too much to expect stuff to work the way it's supposed to?
