Because not every subject needs its own topic. This is basically a general catch-all thread for us to post smaller stuff and just get to know everyone!
I spent most of it sat on my bum and managed to rack up another 25+ hours on Dragon Age. Consequently I now have a tonne of stuff I need to do, yet have decided to go Christmas shopping and Nandos with my sister instead...

I wanted to finally start Dragon Age this weekend but instead I was responsible and played games I am reviewing instead. One was terrible but the other was a lot of fun so its not all a loss.
The one major downside to reviewing games is that I rarely have time to play the games I really want to play unless I happen to be reviewing them. Then all my friends laugh at me for not unlocking all the characters in Smash Bros.
I ad a great weekend, Friday night I took my 7yr old son out to an Italian restaurant for his dinner, Saturday I took my 4yr old daughter to an American style diner for lunch and yesterday had a birthday party for my son and his big sister which was absolutely amazing (no irony here)
Lazy. Played some AC Unity and visited my Mum for a Fish n Chip take-away on Saturday. Was going to do the festive thing (put tree up) on Sunday, but spent more time playing AC Unity. In a moment of madness, I decided to take the dogs to the park...or what was a park and is now a partially grassy mud pit. Needless to say, they both needed a good bath when we got back.
You don't stop gaming because you get old, you get old because you stop gaming.

Spent a whole weekend in the lab! Played a little XO Minecraft, keep creating worlds, leaving them for a while, forgetting how much I managed to do then just creating a new one.

What kind of dogs do you have?
Border Collies - Bonnie and Clyde. Just turned 3 years old

I think I'm the only person I know - real or virtually - who dislikes Christmas decorations. My tree goes up about a week before Xmas and it's down again before New Year. I love Christmas, but I really dislike having all that sparkly and spangly tat in my lounge xD
I've nearly finished Christmas shopping today, and I have enough wrapping paper to wrap a small army. I should be fine...

We don't even put a tree up, usually, but now the bot is 3 and asking about it, I suppose I'm going to have too.....
"Justin Bieber looks like a lesbian i'd like to ****..." - Megakillscreen, out of frickin' nowhere!

Nope. I'm in that camp, too. Fortunately, pretty much my entire Christmas will be taking place at other people's houses, so my place is staying decoration-free this year.
Yeah, I've long since resigned myself to other people liking Xmas decorations and me not. As I moved out though my little corner of Wales will not be decorated.
Plus as I won't be seeing any of my family until the actual day I will not have a prickly 6ft tree fall on me while trying to balance it. I won't have to haul down a bunch of decorations that fall out on me every time I go near them, and I will definitely not clock myself in the shins with whatever tools I have had to use to get everything to stay in place. I'm so happy right now it's untrue.
Currently looking forward to my first batch of holiday time in about 10 days. Shift patterns have not been conducive to gaming lately.
We noticed there's now a Toy Story Collection on NowTV - all three films and two shorts... So we've spent all day watching them xD Just finished number three - which always makes me cry!
Do kind of agree with the xmas decorations thing... Don't get me wrong, I like seeing the tree up, and decorations around the house - it's just the process of actually achieving that I don't like.
Endless trips up into the freezing cold loft to retrieve umpteen dusty boxes. Trying to get the artificial tree assembled and fiddling with the branches in a vain attempt get it resembling an actual tree. Finding which bloody bulb is preventing the whole set from working... and that's just the tree. Then of course there's the packing of it all again come January and storing it away. You can't tell me that anyone actually finds that "fun"?
