God, I remember being so excited for Suicide Squad but now... If it has a decent campaign I might consider getting it on sale. Still, the whole live service aspect irks me, to say the least. It was so unnecessary but alas. I am excited for Banishers: Ghosts Of New Eden. The last game that got me this riled up was Hogwarts Legacy lol.
@UndyingInsurgent95 I played the suicide squad beta for about four hours, thought the campaign was great.
Pretty small sample size for sure but I don't think it's gonna be as bad as people make it out to be.
I thought it was better than the first four hours of Marvel's Avengers.
Persona 3 Reload is the one I'm waiting for!
@Cherip-the-Ripper I'm glad to hear it buddy! 😄 Like I said, I'll get it for the campaign only. Do you plan on getting it day one ?
@UndyingInsurgent95 nahhh, really tempted because I genuinely think it looks great. It's a looter shooter that's right up my alley.
But I don't think it's worth its mrsp, besides with their stance on the battle pass system I'm not really missing out on anything if I get it down the line instead.
If anything it'll be more worthy of my money.
Also, my gpu is running out next month and I don't think I'm gonna extend it, at least not right away.
The game wouldn't be as playable without it.
Only two weeks left for Banishers though, I'm not picking it up but assume you are so I hope the game's great!!
P.S. I preferred your Atlas Fallen pfp
@Cherip-the-Ripper Yeah, it's a game that you get on a big sale after it's gotten all the major content updates 💀
Anyway, you're right about Banishers. I need it right now, like I'm dying to play it 😄
Don't worry, I'll switch my pfp to something different soon. Spoiler alert: it's a Focus published game haha.
I find game pass is ultimately worth the money at the end of the day. I will admit it is heavily focused on indie games but when 90% of new titles are indie games it is inevitable. Still get some good full priced games and there are lots of titles that I'm on the fence and game pass gives me a chance to play it, perhaps finish it, perhaps buy the game or perhaps find the game isn't worth playing and I don't waste money on a bad game. Starfield and Redfall are both in the category of, it looks like a good game I might buy, but once I actually play the game I realize it's not for me. Decided to grab the persona 3 portable and persona 4 bundle before it left game pass after checking out the game. Persona 3 reloaded looks cool. Turnip boy robs a bank is fun, likely wouldn't pay $30, but playing it with game pass is cool. The upcoming 100 heroes game look good as well.
@UndyingInsurgent95 lmao and I thought I was a big fan of theirs 😂
How do you feel about their name change?
Changing it to PulluP
@Cherip-the-Ripper Omg don't get me started on that name change! What the hell is up with that 🤡? Why on Earth would they change their iconic industry name to some weird knockoff underwear brand thing....
Still praying they change their minds about that. If they are serious about the name change, at LEAST they'll stick with "Focus Entertainment" when it comes to game publishing. Kinda like Meta but Facebook and Instagram are still there.
Anyway, sorry about the rant lmao.
@UndyingInsurgent95 nah that's fair, I had the exact same thoughts and figured you'd have the same strong feelings about it haha
Can't wait till I get a playtest invite from 'PulluP' 😂
Also, I see you changed it 👀
What is it now The Surge?
@Cherip-the-Ripper The only thing they can "pull up" is my cheap underwear 🫤🙄 ...
Anyway, yeah... and good eye! It's the only souls like that I truly enjoyed and had fun with. I even did multiple NG+ runs. Nothing is more satisfying than chopping off a limb from an enemy (I know, I sound like a psycho lmao).
