I have both Immortals of Aveum and Armoured Core 6 on pre-order, but I'm not going to get to play either of them upon release as I am still playing Baldur's Gate 3, which I am really hoping to finish (though it's unlikely!) before Starfield comes out. So many promising and great games all in such a short time period. A great nightmare to have...
@Fiendish-Beaver wait so why pre-order then? Aren't you expecting aveum to get a pretty steep pricedrop shortly after launch anyway? Seems pretty doomed if you ask me.
Happy gaming
Partly because I always like to get the pre-order offerings, @Cherip-the-Ripper, but also so that I have them in my library. I'm a compulsive hoarder. Always have been. I will play them. It's just a little stacked right now...
ROTT really coming out this time?
@Fiendish-Beaver hey thanks for your honesty bro
armored cooooooorrreeeee i can't wait, its been SO LONGGGG
@Fiendish-Beaver i feel the exact same way. I'm almost wishing that at some point in the future more games become games-as-a-service just so that I can finally get through my backlog! I'm returning to Yakuza 7 before Starfield. Attempted to replay Baldur's Gate 1 EE (first time since I played the original back like early 2000s) but realised that there would be no way I could get through that before Starfield and I abhor leaving a game uncompleted, especially one that is not as pick-up-and-play-friendly as BG.
@Evilinsane Make sure you use boost potions in every fight in Yakuza 7. I disregarded them until late in the game. My team wasn't beef up enough and that cause some real difficulties. I had to go to a high XP area and farm with boost active for days to be viable in the last few major encounters.
@theduckofdeath funny you should say that. I just read up on them today. I'm breezing through every fight as I spent ages on the business minigame and bought a load of stuff but I'm near the end - chapter 12 I think. I'll look up the boosts anyways and see how feasible it is for me to do. I never grinded any other Yakuza game though this one is very different.
Appreciated, @himynameishank... 👍
To think that this time next week, Starfield will be coming to XBOX next week 😊 Super excited 😊
