Every year, we circle that one date on the calendar in which the Xbox Games Showcase delivers countless announcements, Game Pass reveals, updates, trailers and much more, and this year it falls on Sunday, June 9th.
Based on the rumours we've been seeing, it sounds like Xbox has another fantastic event in store for us, and we're assuming the vast majority of Xbox fans will be making plans to view the show in some form this weekend.
Here at Pure Xbox, we're going to be hosting the official 4K, 60FPS livestream complete with a live chatroom so you can discuss it with other members of the PX community, so we hope to see you there! Alternatively, you could watch it on YouTube or Twitch or somewhere like that, or perhaps you've got a few friends to watch it with - or maybe it's even being hosted in a cinema near you?! It's definitely time to get those plans in order!

Gonna watch it after the fact. Turning all notifications off and not looking at any news that day. Once kids are in bed I'll turn it on and enjoy the show. For all the rakes they just love to step on, Xbox sure puts on the best showcases.

@OldGamer999 Big announcement? I have my wishes and fears all mixed up on my mind. I'm almost sure about a console and controller refresh. As prediction, I'm going to say something not mentioned on "Our Predictions For The 2024 Xbox Games Showcase": State of Decay 3 gameplay. If I remember well, we have only seen a very short non-gameplay trailer years ago. My greatest wish is Banjo-Kazooie, Viva Piñata and Conker.
Hey @FraserG have you guys seen that Delilah_HD a senior MS developer replied Tom Warren rumours, called him irresponsible for saying Halo is going to PS5? After that he edited and removed the part about Halo.

I’m going Banjo Kazooie announcement and game play. Might be a remake of BK one.
@Foxx_64740 Yeah, I've seen it - who knows what's going on there, but Tom's usually very reliable when it comes to stuff like this.
He's not the kind of person who's just going to make something up for internet clout, but at the same time a lot of his report was purposely very vague - he only said it was being "considered" for PS5 so I don't think anyone should take that as 100% fact.
It could be a long time before we find out what's going on with this Halo remaster anyway...
I'll have to watch on demand later in the day after the India v Pakistan world cup game in New York. I think this Xbox showcase will surpass the last if some of the rumours materialize plus Microsoft Gaming needs to garner some good faith and excitement after a difficult period for it's image and integrity.
I’ll be watching the thing live, though probably alone with no one… 😅 There’s just something about watching game reveals unfold live that is exciting…
@Banjo- Yes please! I’d love to see something related to one of the three franchises you mentioned. Even if I am a bit too hopeful, I can’t tell you how much I’d make my day if they had a project related to Banjo in development!

My group used to watch these in watch parties but organising that is a lot harder these days, I believe we're setting up a VR watch party to try and recreate that

I have a work event in Vegas.
Plane lands at 8am. Goingto find a corner in the hotel when i get there and watch from my phone lol. (room not ready until 4) Then go Grub on some food.
I may not be able to watch it all of it live as between
6-8 is when I make and eat dinner but I will certainly be watching what I can live
whilst running up and down my stairs and anything I miss

folks, don't get too hyped lol. its microsoft. i most likely watch live if im doing nothing but ideally i want to watch after so i can skip over the many indie child trailers.
the main thing i want is an avowed release date and a 60 fps mode for it. they wouldn't try to pull the "only 30 fps" scam would they?

I'll be at the event in LA. I've been looking forward to this for weeks. There is a "meet the creators" show after the showcase. I hope Todd Howard is there.

I have plans during the SGF live show. Maybe I will throw it on the second monitor sometime Saturday while gaming. Might just browse a recap article too haven't decided yet. I'm not a huge fan of SGF anyway.
Xbox show I will try to watch live but only if I have nothing else going on. I usually have these shows on in the background of gaming i do for music or podcasts where I can split my attention.

Guess who pulled the 2am baker's shift for the morning after? As much as enjoy Xbox's showcases, I think not being completely dead in the morning is probably a priority.

Starts at 3am Monday morning in Australia, but it’s a public holiday! So will be watching live for sure!!! Was lucky enough to see last years at a Microsoft watch party which was epic, no such luck this year so will be watching solo
