Welcome to the weekend! There's plenty to enjoy on Xbox over the next couple of days, including some recent Xbox Game Pass additions, a bunch of Free Play Days titles, a UFL beta and lots of discounted titles via the Xbox Store!
Here's what we're playing this weekend:

For me, it's all about the UFL beta this weekend. This is the second public beta we've seen for the upcoming free-to-play footie game, and despite some grumbles about it back in June, I actually really enjoyed what I played of it.
Beyond that, I might get stuck into an Olympics game again (although my Xbox 360 has just broken, so London 2012 will have to wait!), and I may also jump back into Baldur's Gate 3 after a few weeks away from it.
Have a good weekend, folks!
What will you be playing on Xbox this weekend? Let us know down in the comments below.

This weekend I will carry on with Age of Empires 2, I've been playing on easy and more of a chill game with skirmish and just enjoying building my economy and massive army's to toy with the opposition.
Can't wait for Age of Mythology to arrive soon!
Quantum Break. Enjoying.
It's the last game of Remedy that I hadn't played.
Great studio. All their mainline games have been good.
I'm about to complete my first run of BG3 on Xbox. I only have a couple quests to wrap up before I go to the final boss.
It's been a fun journey. A couple months ago I was about to give up on the game because I thought it was sluggish and boring. But now I can barely put it down.
I’ll repost what I wrote on the other two sites.
Practicing combos in Tekken 8 and King of Fighters 15.
I am still mostly plugging away at Path of Exile. It has a fun little town building resource gathering mechanic in the new league that's kind of neat & very rewarding.
7 Days to Die 1.0 on Series X. Addicted to the gameplay loop now and have acquired a bicycle which makes getting round the map a lot easier. This gives me more time to make some steps towards self-sufficiency in food and water.
I’ve not been in the mood for gaming much this last week! I’ve been watching the Olympics, some series, read a book etc. I picked up Nobody wants to die and tried it for 30 min or so and it seems great so I’ll dig into it properly soon. Also finished the campaign in The First Descendant so I’m now done with that game. Enjoyed it a lot more than I initially thought I would and it was fun playing with others in co-op. Still not really a good game 😅
After I finish Nobody wants to die I think its high time to play Stellar Blade 🙂
I have started Blue Dragon yesterday so that will be my gaming for the next few weeks
Just finished the Phantom Liberty expansion yesterday and got the ending where the main story of the vanilla continues so I'll be playing the final part of Cyberpunk this weekend. What a game folks!
I recently finished the magnificent Still Wakes the Deep. Short and sweet (especially if you're a fan of The Thing, Color Out of Space and Alien Isolation. It even has some Remedy influences.
Gamepass is now paused until November/December.
Currently going slowly through the beautiful GOW Ragnarok but I might take a relaxing Flight Sim journey to mix things up a bit.

Really just playing brotato as it is quick. A little sleep deprived with all the Olympics on. Enjoy your weekend everyone!
Just finished MWiii so will go back and replay some of my favourite missions. Also playing FH4, FH5, Toy Soldiers HD, Halo Wars 1&2, and getting near the end of Exhumed, which is a brilliant Saturn remaster. All on Series X. Happy gaming everyone.
Maybe Nobody Wants to Die, depends on how the day looks and how tired I am. I can’t play it around the kids and I’m sort of drained from work, so I don’t want to fall asleep playing it, which… sort of happened last time I tried to start it. 🤷♂️
I’m not really playing anything in particular, so I wouldn’t be surprised if I just play something retro, like the TMNT collection. I’m sort of tempted to pick up Sand Land while I wait for Wukong.
Resubbed to Game Pass to play WWE 2K24. I just do the created characters story mode (MyRise).
That'll be my weekend.
I'm back into Sonar Shock after putting it down for a bit. The controls are intentionally clunky as an old-school design choice: no jumping, no strafing, and the mouse moves a cursor on the screen rather than controlling the camera. It was tough to get used to, but now that I have, I'm really enjoying what the game has to offer. It definitely deserves to have the word "shock" in its name as tribute to System Shock and Bioshock. I love the freedom and depth of customizing your character build to your particular playstyle - it is an immersive sim, after all. One interesting mechanic is that your psi powers run on sanity, so using them (or seeing certain enemies or particularly disturbing environments) makes you start to hallucinate, not at all disimilar to something like Eternal Darkness, and smoking cigarettes increases your sanity, but decreases your health. Pretty cool stuff!
I have 2 dungeons left in Dungeons of Hinterberg, so I should be able to beat that this weekend. Then I'll get back to my playthrough of the Halo 2 campaign, where I have a couple levels left. I might be able to beat that too (2 games finished in 1 weekend!)
Looks up while playing Starfield and notices summer break is almost over. Shrugs. Goes back to playing Starfield for the remainder of summer break
The Walking Dead Definitive Collection and Pokemon Heart Gold
Im currently playing Jusant on Gamepass.
World of Warcraft Mist of Pandaria Remix (PC) We are into the final days of the event and my goal is to get one more character to 70 before it's over. So far I have Zandalarian Retribution Paladin, Blood Elf Frost Death Knignt, Nightborne Shadow Priest, Orc Survival Hunter and now I am working on a Tauren Enhancement Shaman.
The Joseph Seed DLC for Far Cry 6...Ubisoft has a lot of discounts right now
I’m still finishing up Octopath traveler 2. Haven’t played anything else since it hit game pass, 140 hours.
After that, curse of the golden idol! And maybe finally smt V
I bought Hogwarts Legacy in the sale so playing that. Still got Ghost Recon wildlands on quick resume. On my 3rd play through. Really do love that game. And pinball fx, in deep competition to beat my mate on every table lol.
I finally beat Genichiro in Sekiro and made my way through Senpou Temple, so on to the next area
Trails of Cold Steel IV and nothing else until I beat it.
On Xbox… Persona 3 reload (bought the razer Kishii gamepad and pair it with an iphone X I had on a drawer… its been a game changer… remote play is amazing )
Playing Elden Ring even though I platinumed back in July.
It is so much fun to help other players agains enemies as well as against invaders
Well here we go with another awesome WAYP. Been an incredible week. Almost beat Stellar Blade and secured preorders for the Deluxe Edition of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero and Shadows of the Damned Hella Remastered. Also bought the ECW Punk pack for WWE2K24 with the reward points I got from PlayStation Stars for that. Very happy about it because I love CM Punk. Also ordered a copy of Tokyo Xanadu Ex+ for switch. Owned the original on PS4 and always said well it feels like it fits on Switch and here we are. Can’t wait to boot it up on my day off. Also scored a awesome deal of the Borderlands Pandora’s Box collection for $37 instead of 150 so I think that means at some point a Borderlands Marathon is on the books like my Uncharted and Resident Evil marathons before it. Also might wanna see that movie too. Speaking of movies I saw Deadpool and Wolverine this week with my best friend and man that was a terrific movie seriously I think it may be easy top 3, definitely a comfort movie I would watch on Disney Plus again if it came out there. Otherwise I enjoyed some more Trails Through Daybreak and FFXIV: Dawntrail. Took a little for both to click but man I just love both of those games so much I really wanna pour loads more into them. Thinking the rest of the weekend will just be a Persona 3 Reload weekend. Made it to December and that means there’s just that and January left. Otherwise I’m thinking this week is mostly gonna consist of some Paper Mario, more P3R and beating Stellar Blade, Luigi’s Mansion, Trails Through Daybreak, beating Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble, FFVII Rebirth, Kunitsu Gami and Dragon’s Dogma 2.. Also think I’m gonna try to get some Eshop money this week to secure copies of Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night Remastered which just got a release for this week. Already own Witch on the Holy Night on PS4 so I think I wanna try to beat all three of those visual novels before the end of the year. WWE SummerSlam too was absolutely amazing I got to see it with my best friend and stepdad and it was just absolutely peak. I won’t go in depth and spoil for those who haven’t seen it yet but I don’t think there was a bad match the whole thing. The pop for a certain comeback was so loud it was absolutely insane. I think my standouts would be Cody Vs Solo, Rhea Vs Liv, and CM Punk Vs Drew. Let’s just say that this weeks RAW and SMACKDOWN are gonna be absolutely amazing. And I got surprised with tickets for SMACKDOWN in October which I am absolutely stoked for as that will almost certainly be building up for a Bloodline Civil War Wargames at Survivor Series in November. Anime of the week gotta go to Demon Slayer, Oshi No Ko, Vtuber Legend and Delicious in Dungeon. Demon Slayer was excellent especially and I’m very interested to see the trilogy of movies they’ve announced to end the series. Podcasts of this week gotta go to Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into The Aether, RPGsites Tetracast, Minnmax, Jeff Gerstmann, Kit and Krysta, Last Stand Media, Easy Allies, Second Wind, Nextlander, Cultaholic Wrestling, Aetheryte Radio and Remap Radio. As always yall stay safe, be incredible to each other. Have a beautiful weekend and of course Happy Gaming.
@Deckard85 How much is that to buy on the store?
For me, it's been about cleaning - so I have played the hell out of PowerWash Simulator and finished the main campaign.
So now I have the extra jobs to do and the DLC (Spongebob)
Hopefully.. hopefully... I'm nearing the end of Sandrock.
-Trying WWE for the weekend to see if it's worth the upgrade (eh).
-Playing Medieval Dynasty VR (whilst I wait for my buddy to be free to start the Xbox version in COOP)
-Playing more Fallout: London as my PC weeps (it REALLY doesn't like it)
Niece and nephew visiting for the week. No gaming for me, but they have been playing a lot of Goat Simulator 3 with my daughter.
