It's time for the Xbox Spring Sale 2025! This year's selection has begun with a list of over 1000 discounted games, plenty of which are major AAA titles (even including some 2025 releases), so there's some great stuff to choose from.
This is a bigger selection than the Xbox Spring Sale "Sneak Preview" that went live for Xbox Game Pass members last week, so if you've already rooted through that, it's still worth looking through the sale again for what you've missed!
Below, we've included just a few handfuls of the highlights from the Xbox Spring Sale 2025. If you want to see the full list, you'll find it in the "Deals" section of the Microsoft Store app on your Xbox console as of this Thursday, while the likes of XBDeals and Deku Deals are also great places to find all the Xbox Spring Sale titles.
We'll have more roundups to share with you over the next few days as well, including a look at some of the "Just For You" deals that have quietly been added to this year's Xbox Spring Sale.
The Xbox Spring Sale 2025 is expected to last until the beginning of May.

Wasn't South Park Snow Day 50% off last week? Now 45? Cute.
Cool! Let me see what I find. The preview had Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition (Series X|S version) at its lowest price ever. Is it really live on console yet?
Baldur's Gate III is only 20% off, and it literally came out more than two years ago... I understand that they're proud of their game, and I know they made a masterpiece, but it's insane just how poor the discount is...
Some first time ever sales here. Ninja Gaiden 2, Blinx (maybe?) and some lowest ever like the yakuza spin offs, metaphor, etc. We will feast!
@Banjo- Yes, the Xbox Spring Sale is live on console, but they won't be advertising it until Thursday. The deals have definitely gone live though.
@FraserG Thanks. 😊
The Expanse game, gonna get that -50%
will Complement Starfield my daily game good
Nothing stand out except some older games a bit disappointing sure I'll keep my points for something special 🙄
@Elbow actually the lowest discount ever on that game is 45% on Xbox platforms (so it's the same discount from last week).
Lowest discount ever: 45% on Switch, 40% on Playstation and 60% on Steam. Source: Deku Deals
If you saw a 50% discount maybe it was a Just For You kind of deal
Another sale, same games and discounts.
@UndyingInsurgent95 You expect Larian Studios to just 50-75% discount a game that STILL sells, STILL gets played and yesterday just got a cross-play update people have been anticipating for over a year?
Nah, this is still a reasonable price for a game like BG3.
Was waiting for Syberia: The World Before to go on sale to buy it, but now I'm disappointed. Last sale it got 80% off, now it's just 60% off. Might get Like a Dragon: Ishin instead.
Another sale another batch of games I'm interested in that are cheaper on a few of the different CD key sites then what there offering for there “sale” price…do better Microsoft!
So no Suikode Colllection, No Dragon Quest IX, no Final Fantasy Pixal Remaster, no MLB The Show, No Indian Jones on sale but Skyrim a game that everyone and their mother own at least 5 copies of so no one is going to buy is on sale again. Whoever figures out these sales needs to be fired.
I have £30 in Xbox vouchers which I was saving for the Indy DLC one day but keep being tempted by Alan Wake 2 Deluxe. I don't have time to get to it now so I keep ignoring it with the hope it'll go on Game Pass one day before I get around to playing.
I was holding off checking the store so I could be surprised when the Spring Sale started. And now I'm finding out that most of the best deals are ending in a couple of hours. Isn't the point of a "preview" to have some of the games that will be on sale be available early but still be available during the event? Who decided that they are set to leave the day it starts?
I'm getting Star Wars Outlaws at £28 in a 'Just for you' deal, could be tempted. Is it worth it?
@Utena-mobile I'm 90% sure they won't end in a couple of hours, the expiry date will just get automatically refreshed. Has happened before with previous Xbox sales.
@AgentCooper I think it's a lot better than I expected it to be and it does nail the star wars vibe really well - if a vaguely stealth/shooty star wars game is what you're looking for and you don't mind the Ubisoft open world stuff (it's not too bad, but it is very much there) then I think it's a steal at that price.
They've most definitely inflated prices on some titles before adding a "discount". An old retail tactic.
Other than that there's a few bargains to be had.
Some very solid deals in here.
@xanderten50 Oh nice, yeah that ticks a lot of my boxes. Thanks mate 👍
@AgentCooper If you love star wars, absolutely a big yes. Fantastically realised worlds to explore, I can spend hours just absorbing the atmos. I recommended it to a friend recently and he hasn't stopped playing it since, so I know I'm not the only one who thinks so!
@Tasuki most of the games you’ve listed are recent releases - why should they be discounted?
Why should someone be fired because some games you want aren’t on sale…
Two things I would say about Baldur's Gate 3, @UndyingInsurgent95;
1. It is a game that is worth much more than its original, full asking price. I have played it for over 3000 hours, and absolutely love it. It is far better value than most games, and is much better than all of the rest out there by some margin.
2. I get that you think that 20% off isn't much of a discount, but please factor in that in the past 2 years, Larian have released 8 free updates. Many of these updates have introduced a whole host of new things into the game, including new classes and subclasses, an entire several hour long epilogue, and much, much more. Most developers would have charged a fair whack for people to have access to these updates. Not Larian though! Larian are regarded as the best developer out there for a reason, and that is because they treat their community with respect. Thus, instead of buying a base game, and then having to buy a number of DLC packs to get the complete game, Larian are providing you with the full game at one set cost. It is worth it, I absolutely promise you. Buy it, you will not regret it...
I picked up the first KCD game with all dlc for less than a tenner. 🙂
@Tasuki indian Jones and the great naan
@dskatter notice that nintendo is bad for not doing more than 30% discount for older games that also sell all the time and get updates/dlc but Larian with BG3 are good?
just an interesting observation because I guess more hardcore audience adores BG3 and larian games and hate on nintendo.
Bramble: The Mountain King for $4.50 is a steal for an awesome game. And if you haven't played A Plague Tale: Requiem, Hogwarts Legacy, Bulletstorm, Dead Space, Hellblade 1 and 2, or the Outer Wilds, I recommend those.
@Millionski I have zero issue with Nintendo not discounting their games much. People still buy em, why should they? Obviously their sales are good enough that they don’t have to pull a Ubisoft and slash the price by 75% three months after release.
Now the launch price for Mario Kart World, THAT I have issues with…
Read my comment at 26, @Millionski, as an explanation as to why Larian are quite within their rights to only offer a 20% discount for their game. For the past 2 years, they have pushed out huge updates to the game, that any other developer would have put out as paid DLC and expansion packs. Would you rather a 30 or 40% discount for the base game, and then have to pay extra for each of the updates that offered a great deal of additional content?
I'm absolutely fine with the business model that Larian operate in which you buy the game upon release (at full price) and then get a huge amount of free content for a couple of years thereafter...
Fable 2 being more expensive than Mass Effect Reboot is INSANE lmaooo
There are sooooo many great games included in this sale. If I didn't subscribe to Ultimate and have a growing backlog of games included with the pass, I would definitely pick a game up.
Well, Nintendo still does not include the DLC of a Wii U game in the 2025 port and no longer discounts games like they used to. Hard to complain about anything on Xbox, considering their first-party sales, Game Pass including first-party games at launch and free and enhanced backwards compatibility.
So I took the S online and had a browse. Nothing took my fancy. While I have picked up the occasional bargain in the past Xbox sales have never been particularly great.
This made me chuckle though:
"Hard to complain about anything on Xbox..."
😂
@Kramlar Because they are games that I am pretty sure people are more interested in purchasing instead of the same old crap. Can you honestly tell me people are buying stuff like Skyrim now?
@Titntin Excellent pitch mate, I'm perilously close to a purchase now haha. Thanks 👍
