Who says January is a bad time for new releases?! 2025 has already given us plenty of new Xbox games, and there's a lot more to come - including so many great indie titles that we've found it near impossible to whittle this list down!

It's well worth checking out the full list of games coming out on Xbox in January 2025 in case we've missed anything you're particularly interested in, as we really regret to avoid mentioning the likes of Cuisineer and Dance of Cards that look really good. We're only putting 10 on the list though, and it's certainly looking like a very strong lineup!

So, here are 10 exciting new Xbox indie games to look out for in January 2025:

The Exit 8 - January 9

The Exit 8 is a short walking simulator inspired by Japanese underground passageways, liminal spaces and back rooms.
