Re: Feature: Pure Xbox's Top 5 Most Wanted Games of 2015

@EternalDragonX FWIW Ubisoft has made some of the best games ever. A few recent tarnishes don't erase Rayman Legends, Far Cry 3, Beyond Good & Evil, etc. from existing. They have a lot of talented people. Neither of the Ubisoft games made my list but I see why people are excited for them.

@stylon Volition isn't working on the Saints Row IV / Gat out of Hell stuff though. I wanna say that is High Voltage.

Most of the time these games are not taking resources away. They're usually done by other studios or by small groups.

Plus a lot of these are just the PC versions moving over to consoles. Not a ton of retooling. As someone who prefers console gaming to PC, I like getting the chance to play these better versions. Plus these re-releases help fund future projects.

@stylon I don't see any problem with it. Especially when a lot of them are taking the place of GotY editions but with actual upgrades. If anything people should be pumped that better versions of games are coming out and more people can experience them. I don't see any downside.

@EternalDragonX DOTA 2, League of Legends, plenty of MMOs like DC Universe Online, the original Spelunky, Blacklight Retribution, World of Tanks, Team Fortress 2, Hearthstone, Jetpack Joyride, Path of Exile.

And there are a ton more iOS games I didn't list. Acting like a game can't be good due to its price makes no sense.

@SuperKMx @EternalDragonX yup I have played some really great Free To Play games as well. Judging a game's quality on its financial strategy doesn't make much sense.

While there are games that do a poor job of implementing it and require people to pay money or grind hours to make any progress there are a lot of free games that get the balance right.

@DRL I'd recommend you play Persona 4 Golden because its up there as my favorite RPG of all time but I doubt you have the free time to sink 80-100 hours into one game. There is a very easy difficulty where you can't fail though so maybe that would cut it down considerably? Still a long game, regardless.

But yeah this is one hell of a fighter if you dig Arc System Works.
