@A_BabyRed_Yoshi Great initiative, glad to hear that you will start recording your music! I don't have much experience with that program personally, I'm afraid, all I've used is Audacity for personal use.
I do however have a friend who is really into music and editing. We used to have a duo group he and I, he had the guitar, brains, brawn and creativity and I just tried to sing He spent much more time and developed his talents way more than I did so we "disbanded" a couple of years ago.
Anyway, I could check with him to see what he is using for his home studio and ask if he knows anything about Cakewalk Sonar.
I apologize for the wall of text(that didn't even answer your question) and wish you the best of luck!
@A_BabyRed_Yoshi Same here, Forza even lured me into watching top gear!
@Gamer83 Yeah, it's great games all around. I (used to) consider myself more of a "arcade racing games" person but I really like Forza 6, so from now on I look forward to any news regarding Forza, both the main series and the excellent spinoff Horizon. Maybe we'll get a Forza Rally next?
@Gamer83 There is no other game on Xbox One, that I've played as much as I've played Horizon 2. Incredible game, and it still puts a smile on my face when I pick a car from the garage and take it for a spin. I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment!
I adore this game, it's so much fun in multiplayer. Played it for hours with my sister and my friends. Glad it's out on Xbox finally as I no longer have a WiiU. Steam on my laptop isn't ideal either.
Rise of the tomb raider and Starwhal(Finally released on Xbox One). If I still had a WiiU I would play some FAST Racing but I might visit my sister and play it with her
Other than that it will be a mix of shooting games and achievement hunting.
I would not want Nintendo games on Xbox, or Sony games either anf I don't want Microsoft games o other cobsoles. It's to have som differentials in the game library of the three consoles, or whats the point? I think multiple consoles is good for the development of the gaming industry and for the consumer. There is already 90%(kind of) multiplat games and monopoly is seldom good for anyone (othet than the one guy in tophat and monocle getting all the douch). Marketfatigue anyone, or the Atari crash?
Good, I need to complete some of my games before getting any new ones. Great to get a break from shopping more games. There is nothing this week that I can't resist
These news make me happy. The Dirt games were among my favorite racers last gen. Sure the third instalation had a bit much Gymkhana for my liking but I think Dirt 2 was more or less a masterpiece.
This games looks closer to the first two Dirt than Dirt 3 so that looks promising.
@Gamer83 Haha, we seem to have some similarities in game taste. I think Tomb Raider is amazing so far and I would be surprised if it doesn't become my GotY. Forza 6 is also a fantastic game and Horizon 2 was my GotY last year.
Embarrassing enough I'm still playing Need for speed but I'm planning to continue rise of tomb raider. Got like seven games on vlack Friday sale so I might play some Mad Max, Dead Rising 3, CoD Ghost or Assassin's Creed Syndicate as well
I bought Kings Quest and, I'm embarrassed to say, Need for speed. The script in NFS is horrible, the always online structure an irritating mess and the rubber-banding is broken. Still, the gameplay is quite good and I couldn't resist another racing game in the library, not for 40% discount anyway.
@A_BabyRed_Yoshi me too but it's hard to find good music games where singing is the focus.
But I like Rock Band 4. It's made for playing the whole band with drums and all but I think it's great to just sing. You have melody, rhythm and guide vocals(if you want) so I woulds say there's good practice. If you pick the higher difficulties you get to dosome free forming(spell?) as well.
Maybe it would be best for you to try it out first but I'm having a blast although an expensive blast
Rise of Tomb Raider, wolfenstein old blood and Dirt 3 is on my agenda.
Oh and @A_BabyRed_Yoshi Rock Band 4 of course. A had to pay for the game twice to get a list of songs that I really like ut I'm having a blast now. A tip is to play around with settings, both in the main options and from the pause many in game. When you have the levels and microphone feedback you prefer it feels much better.
So it might be a better choice to wait for a price drop (if you're not crazy about the songlist) and then spend some dollars on dlc
@Gamer83 It sounds amazing! Can't wait to play it on friday. I'm also interested in how you like the season pass, I feel hesitant after feeling burned by the Batman dlc
I'm really looking forward to this game. I have to wait until Friday though. I seem to be in the minority but this was one of my most anticipated game for this year. Easily top 3
@DRL I feel you, happens to me all the time. I say Forza, I play Batman, I say Valiant Hearts, but end up with Batman.
Anyway, playing through WRC but might trade it for NFS later on. I'm afraid always online will make it worse than it has to but I haven't decided to get it or not.
@A_BabyRed_Yoshi Bought Rock Band 4 today, sp I will try it out this weekend. I'll let you know if I enjoy it or not.
@A_BabyRed_Yoshi Yeah I'll have to check it up. think I read somewhere that it was compatible with a wide range of USB microphones and not just the Rock Band one. I'm not sure though.
@A_BabyRed_Yoshi Same here! In that regard, what would you say about Rock Band? I was thinking about getting it, hooking up a mic and just sing my lungs out. Would you recommend Rock Band if you just want to play vocals?
@Gamer83 The atmosphere is great! When you descend on that planet with Chief and blue team(the one with water and tropical plants) , Wow! Took my breath away. The sound effects really help too. Too sum up, I think Halo 5 is a great game. I'm glad to have it and would gladly recommend it.
@Gamer83 I think it started of great in the campaign, lost some pace in the middle but got really intense near the end. I have completed 14 missions and it feels like it's wrapping up. I don't care much for the story though. It's good but I believe it could be delivered better.
The gameplay feels tight and modern but I still miss being able to dual-wield weapons.
If I was somehow competent at Fps I would like it more but I'm straight awful.
Haven't tried multiplayer yet(I will be butchered) but I like the game so far.
A mix of everything. I'll try to come further into the the story of DmC, but I'll lose focus. Valiant Hearts is fun so might play a bit of that as well and Forza 6. Obviously.
@SuperKMx Haha, good one! It's a great song(hilarious lyrics). Hope the game is half as good as your joke, but I kind of doubt it. Did it get any favourable reviews on steam and /or WiiU?
Yeah, as I said before, It feels like they've focused on high quantity instead of high quality. I still haven't completed the story so I have a lot to do this winter

Re: Deals With Gold Returns This Week With Big Forza Discounts

Haha, I'm up for that! There has been a long time without great sci-fi racers on consoles. Bring it!

@TylerTreese
Haha, I like your review, and it seems like good game. Thanks for being honest with the difficulty level!
Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue Eighty Six
Deadpool, need some B-movie gaming time.
@A_BabyRed_Yoshi congratulations man, happy 20! Have a great weekend!
Re: Microsoft's Own Cloud Tech Could One Day Power PS4 Exclusives
@Gamer83 I second that!
@SuperKMx Your right, mixed up the whole cloud AI with the drivatar system. Thank you!
Re: Microsoft's Own Cloud Tech Could One Day Power PS4 Exclusives
Does the Forza games on Xbox One use it? The AI is definitely getting better over time in those games
Re: Games With Gold For January 2016 Has A Killer Lineup
Nice, I really like that lineup. Seems to be a lot of good gaming and free of charge on top of that!
Re: Feature: Our Top 3 Xbox Games of 2015 - Staff Lists

Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue Eighty Four
Rise of the Tomb Raider, Mad Max and Just Cause 3 will occupy my Xbox One, and all of my free time, this weekend
Re: DiRT Rally Will Be Tearing Up The Track on Xbox One
Yes! Day one if it's true! I've been longing for a new Dirt game a long time. Terrific news!
Re: Watch Out For New Quantum Break Footage at The Game Awards 2015

Re: Watch Out For New Quantum Break Footage at The Game Awards 2015
@Gamer83 I agree with you on that! Looks very interesting. My "Tomb Raider" of 2016.
Reminds that I have to play more of Tomb Raider. I've tried to save it because I don't want it to end but I can't bare to anymore.

Re: Review: Star Wars: Battlefront (Xbox One)
I agree with @Ryno and @KelticDevil
A single player mode with dogfighting, story and 1 on 1 laser sword fights would make this much more tempting.
And the season pass is still off putting
Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue Eighty Two

Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue Eighty Two
@A_BabyRed_Yoshi There are 65songs on the disc. The list is very broad so it's easy to find something to like but hard to like them all.
I would say that any USB mic from 20-100 dollars would do the trick. I picked one up for 35$ at the tech shop and I'm satisfied with it.
Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue Eighty Two
Rise of Tomb Raider, wolfenstein old blood and Dirt 3 is on my agenda.

Re: Review: Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition (Xbox One)
Yeah I agree with the reviewer. The performance is painful. It's a shame, because it feels like there's a really good game underneath.
Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue Eighty One
Yep, Tomb raiding for me as well. Some 360 BC too, mainly Alien Hominid
