@A_BabyRed_Yoshi
Great initiative, glad to hear that you will start recording your music!
I don't have much experience with that program personally, I'm afraid, all I've used is Audacity for personal use.

I do however have a friend who is really into music and editing. We used to have a duo group he and I, he had the guitar, brains, brawn and creativity and I just tried to sing He spent much more time and developed his talents way more than I did so we "disbanded" a couple of years ago.

Anyway, I could check with him to see what he is using for his home studio and ask if he knows anything about Cakewalk Sonar.

I apologize for the wall of text(that didn't even answer your question) and wish you the best of luck!

@A_BabyRed_Yoshi
Same here, Forza even lured me into watching top gear!

@Gamer83
Yeah, it's great games all around. I (used to) consider myself more of a "arcade racing games" person but I really like Forza 6, so from now on I look forward to any news regarding Forza, both the main series and the excellent spinoff Horizon. Maybe we'll get a Forza Rally next?

Re: Review: STARWHAL (Xbox One)

I adore this game, it's so much fun in multiplayer. Played it for hours with my sister and my friends. Glad it's out on Xbox finally as I no longer have a WiiU. Steam on my laptop isn't ideal either.

Re: Phil Spencer Would Be Happy to See More Nintendo Games (or Games That Were Released on Nintendo Platforms First) on Xbox One

jongred

I would not want Nintendo games on Xbox, or Sony games either anf I don't want Microsoft games o other cobsoles. It's to have som differentials in the game library of the three consoles, or whats the point? I think multiple consoles is good for the development of the gaming industry and for the consumer. There is already 90%(kind of) multiplat games and monopoly is seldom good for anyone (othet than the one guy in tophat and monocle getting all the douch). Marketfatigue anyone, or the Atari crash?

Re: DiRT Rally Now Confirmed for Xbox One in 2016

These news make me happy. The Dirt games were among my favorite racers last gen. Sure the third instalation had a bit much Gymkhana for my liking but I think Dirt 2 was more or less a masterpiece.

This games looks closer to the first two Dirt than Dirt 3 so that looks promising.

Re: Here Are Your Xbox One and Xbox 360 Digital Black Friday Deals

I bought Kings Quest and, I'm embarrassed to say, Need for speed. The script in NFS is horrible, the always online structure an irritating mess and the rubber-banding is broken. Still, the gameplay is quite good and I couldn't resist another racing game in the library, not for 40% discount anyway.

Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue Eighty Two

@A_BabyRed_Yoshi me too but it's hard to find good music games where singing is the focus.

But I like Rock Band 4. It's made for playing the whole band with drums and all but I think it's great to just sing.
You have melody, rhythm and guide vocals(if you want) so I woulds say there's good practice. If you pick the higher difficulties you get to dosome free forming(spell?) as well.

Maybe it would be best for you to try it out first but I'm having a blast although an expensive blast

Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue Eighty Two

Rise of Tomb Raider, wolfenstein old blood and Dirt 3 is on my agenda.

Oh and @A_BabyRed_Yoshi Rock Band 4 of course.
A had to pay for the game twice to get a list of songs that I really like ut I'm having a blast now.
A tip is to play around with settings, both in the main options and from the pause many in game. When you have the levels and microphone feedback you prefer it feels much better.

So it might be a better choice to wait for a price drop (if you're not crazy about the songlist) and then spend some dollars on dlc

Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue Eighty

@DRL I feel you, happens to me all the time. I say Forza, I play Batman, I say Valiant Hearts, but end up with Batman.

Anyway, playing through WRC but might trade it for NFS later on. I'm afraid always online will make it worse than it has to but I haven't decided to get it or not.

@A_BabyRed_Yoshi Bought Rock Band 4 today, sp I will try it out this weekend. I'll let you know if I enjoy it or not.

Re: Review: Guitar Hero Live (Xbox One)

@A_BabyRed_Yoshi Yeah I'll have to check it up. think I read somewhere that it was compatible with a wide range of USB microphones and not just the Rock Band one. I'm not sure though.

Re: Review: Guitar Hero Live (Xbox One)

@A_BabyRed_Yoshi Same here!
In that regard, what would you say about Rock Band? I was thinking about getting it, hooking up a mic and just sing my lungs out. Would you recommend Rock Band if you just want to play vocals?

Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue Seventy Nine

jongred

@Gamer83 I think it started of great in the campaign, lost some pace in the middle but got really intense near the end. I have completed 14 missions and it feels like it's wrapping up. I don't care much for the story though. It's good but I believe it could be delivered better.

The gameplay feels tight and modern but I still miss being able to dual-wield weapons.

If I was somehow competent at Fps I would like it more but I'm straight awful.

Haven't tried multiplayer yet(I will be butchered) but I like the game so far.
