I really wanted to enjoy this, but the dialog is so flat and uninspired that it would need to have a great combat system to be enjoyable. Unfortunately it falls flat there as well. The art is nice and the combat looks fancy, but you quickly realize that you can close your eyes and smash buttons randomly with the same effect. While I love the other dragon age games this feels a lot like it was made by people who were told what they were like as opposed to people who ever played or even saw them. They obviously brought back old characters, but again they feel more like copies than anything interesting. In general I would say there is nothing wrong with the game, it is just boring and unimaginative, especially if you have played any of the prior games.
