For me it's GTA 5 and Farcry 4, I missed picking up Sunset Overdrive and plumped for the new COD instead. Regretting that now, I think an early trade in is on the cards!!
I'm not going to sit on the fence even though I do enjoy both, but I can't deny enjoying the freedom and exploration that comes with an open world game more. Farcry 1 and 3 were two of the best FPS games I've ever played, and who isn't looking forward to The Division? It's a great time to be a gamer, now if only we could do something about all these fanboys flooding the internet. But I guess we can't have everything lol.
Just a thought, but to stop everyone trying to download the update on launch day why don't they make the update available for download a week before release? (Regardless if you bought a physical copy or not) Surely this will help those purchasing the game from having to wait several hours to play it when they get home? Don't see why this would be an issue, just make it available on XBL. Simple, I think?
Looks promising if not amazing. Here's hoping survival horror is making a well overdue comeback. Played the new Alien game last night in the dark, gotta say the atmosphere the game created was fantastic, the fear of the alien appearing at any moment keeps you on the edge of your seat all the time. Loving it so far
I had become a little bit bored with racing sims of late, as they all felt a bit samey. I had no intention of buying this, but after playing the demo I couldn't wait to get my hands on the full game. So glad I did, loving it!
Just a quickie!! It's my first time posting a comment on your site, as I'm new to PureXbox. First up I'd like to just say I completely agree with your article and it makes a nice change to read something with a more balanced approach to the subject. Secondly I love your website. I stumbled across it using a popular gaming app and have loved reading all your articles that have appeared on there. So I thought I'd sign up and visit more often haha. Keep up the good work, loving what I've seen so far!!
