I’m so tired of this question coming up every week.

Why would they pay $7.5 billion to let Sony have 30% of the profits on the games sold? That makes no sense.

They can’t come straight out & say what they are doing because they don’t, technically, own Bethesda yet.

I would expect they will honor any existing deals Bethesda has with Sony (Deathloop & Ghostwire Tokyo) & maybe even release games far into PS5 development (maybe Starfield), along with the online games ESO & Fallout 76.

Then as new games get made, they are exclusive to the Xbox ecosystem. I’m so tired of the Sony led media fanboys asking this question in every interview. If it was Sony that bought Bethesda (not that they have the $ to even do that), they wouldn’t even ask this question. 🙄

I have zero interest in a PS5, but it sounds like I may have to wait awhile for my XSX. I figured this would be case, regardless, as I hate pre-ordering consoles.

This is the worst excuse I have heard in a long time. Just delay the game if it’s in that rough of shape.

To back to your point, a simple solution is to launch the console when you know you have enough units manufactured to meet demand. I have stated that, myself, in another article.

The problem with that is we wouldn’t get the new consoles until 2021. And that would be fine with me. But most people don’t have that patience & Microsoft & Sony don’t want to wait that long because of......$$$$.

Scalpers are scum. I think we both agree on that. But if you take away the reason for them being scalpers, then they wouldn’t be there in the first place.

Obviously, the XSX is in very high demand. These scalpers are just praying on that. No need to come in here & knock the XSX because YOU believe it’s not worth an upgrade.

I could actually say the same about PS5. Or the Switch, in general. But I am not on Push Square or Nintendo Life knocking the console.

Game Pass is awesome, so this is no surprise. And it sure helps you can play most of your catalog of games on the new console. They have done a great job. 👍🏻

I think Game Pass is perfect for a game like Tell Me Why & all of Dontnod’s episodic games.

This is huge. I don’t play COD multiplayer, so if I want to play one of their campaigns (I only play the Infinity Ward ones), then I don’t want Warzone eating up HD space.

That’s what I have been saying. The PlayStation fans get all pissed at Xbox because they bought Bethesda. But, in my opinion, it wasn’t about that.

It’s more about Google, Amazon, etc. Sony doesn’t have the $ to make a purchase like that anyways. But the other ones do. And Phil even stated in the past that he views those other big $ companies as more competition to Xbox than Sony.

But try telling this all to a PlayStation fan & they go in “fanboy mode” real quick. Lol.

Sony does it, so why shouldn’t Microsoft. Microsoft just has a bigger “hammer” than Sony does.

And with Google, Amazon, Tencent, etc with all that $ out there, Microsoft is trying to build the Game Pass library.

But, in saying that, I also love competition as it benefits gamers. Like I said in another article.....

Xbox gamers should love that Sony is around. And PlayStation gamers should love that Xbox is around. If not, all gamers would be screwed.

Oh and I am currently playing Mass Effect Andromeda right now off of this service.

To me, the COD series died when the Modern Warfare (the REAL Infinity Ward) trilogy ended. The series hasn’t been the same since. And I have zero interest in the multiplayer, especially with all the storage space each game eats up on your hard drive.
