I have played DDR for almost 10 years so This game was my most anticipated launch game. I thought it was way better than I expected but it is not for the casual player at all. The game graphics are sweet and its cool that you can save a video of yourself and it blends into the stage the next time you play but you are right about the menu interface and the "star power" mode. I loved the tracklist because it has lots of my favs from DDR but the lack of a practice mode makes some of the hardest levels more frustrating than fun unless you have time to memorize all the songs. I still enjoy it alot and as a DDR/parapara player, I give it an 8/10. There is literally no advertising that I know and it is the only Kinect game that Target doesn't seem to carry so I doubt players will really care about this and its a shame. I just read that this is the best selling launch game in Japan at 6000 units so that is somewhat comforting to those that want DLC/sequel.
