I'm going to try and sneak in Life is Strange if possible. But I'm also thinking of waiting for the rest of the season to come out too. Sigh, decisions.
This developer is really starting to grow on me. Remember Me — in my opinion — was underrated, and I'm very excited to play Life is Strange. This new game looks very interesting!
Sadly, the cross-buy is ONLY on PlayStation. If you pre-order the PS4 edition, you automatically get the PS3 version for free. Microsoft really needs to begin offering cross buy as well here soon, wouldn't you say?
I love RPG's — my list includes South Park and Child of Light, and I reviewed Pier Solar HD --, but sadly DAI was one that got pushed aside for the time being. Going to school, working full-time — I just wasn't ready to dive into an 80 hour experience. It's definitely in my backlog, and I'll most likely get to it in the new year.
@Emanouel indeed, but Threes came first! 2048 was created in response to Threes early when it was released on iOS. There's been a lot of clones but 2048 was the most popular.
@JaxonH I can't wait for Ori as well. The last I heard on a release date was Q4 of this year, but I'm thinking it'll be pushed into 2015. Never Alone looks to be a solid little game, according to some reviews out there.
@midnafanboy At least we still have the new Nickelodeon TV show which is awesome. This game is based off of it. It's just a shame this game doesn't retain the high quality of the show.
It's impressive to see the effort Rockstar has put into this. A first-person mode could easily have been a simple camera switch, but this is clearly so much more. @SuperKMx I'll probably stick with third-person as well, but some sections in the game could benefit from this new perspective, specifically some combat scenarios.
@Gamer83 Thanks! I'd say Outlast is far more scarier than The Evil Within and both handle scares quite differently. But TEW knows how to build tension really well. I was gripping my controller pretty damn tightly for most of it, especially the last few chapters. Chapter 6 and 10, too!
@DRL It is annoying. On the other hand, those who buy the disc can still play the MCC, just not the online component until the patch is finished installing. For those going digital, they can pre-download the patch on top of the base download.
I'm really intrigued by this game and it sounds like it's worth a play. I'll wait for a Deals with Gold sale and snag it then. Thanks for the solid review, Emma!
Lots of solid games here but I had to go with Resident Evil 4. It was so ahead of its time, and many shooters to this day take a lot of cues from RE4. It's one of those games that I need to play right away whenever I hear it mentioned out of the blue.
I ended up picking Sunset Overdrive here, but man oh man, October is one stacked month. Can't wait to also play Alien: Isolation, The Evil Within, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Sleeping Dogs, Costume Quest 2, Killer Instinct S2 and both Walking Dead's. Phew!
@TheXboxHero Yeah and all of them seem to be worth playing. Well, except for Falling Skies. The rest of the year is looking promising too. It's a good time to be on Xbox.
@SunnyShores Yeah at first I thought the same. But June is usually a slow month but the right game could still sell like crazy. Look at the Last of Us.
Played this on PC when it came out. It's definitely a terrifying experience but does tend to get a bit repetitive. I'm intrigued by some of the new content they're adding though.

Re: Rise of the Tomb Raider on 360 Not Being Developed By Crystal Dynamics
@sinalefa Man, the 360/PS3 SoM is one of the worst and laziest ports I've ever seen. It never should have been released for last-gen consoles.
I won't be playing RotTR on 360 but I do hope it's a worthwhile release for those that don't have a One yet.
Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue Forty Four
@sorethumbed I've been wanting to play that too before Witcher 3 is released. Can I start at 2 or should I also play the first game?
Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue Forty Four
I'm going to try and sneak in Life is Strange if possible. But I'm also thinking of waiting for the rest of the season to come out too. Sigh, decisions.
Re: pX Draws: ZOMBIES!!
These are all quite fantastic. Good job everyone!
Re: Your Xbox One Controller Is About To Start Powering Up Quicker
Pretty neat that Microsoft can improve stuff like this. Controller improvements are something I never thought could happen this gen.
Re: Review: Resident Evil (Xbox One)
@DRL Oh yeah, you're right. I remember there being one for Destiny as well.

Re: Deals With Gold Cuts Sunset Overdrive, Dead Rising 3 and More
That's a great price for Dead Rising 3. If I didn't already own it, I wouldn't hesitate on picking it up.
Re: Review: Resident Evil (Xbox One)
@Gamer83 It's very much a possibility. I'm just curious, has Microsoft done anything remotely close to cross-buy or cross-save?
Re: Review: Resident Evil (Xbox One)
Sadly, the cross-buy is ONLY on PlayStation. If you pre-order the PS4 edition, you automatically get the PS3 version for free. Microsoft really needs to begin offering cross buy as well here soon, wouldn't you say?
Re: What's Out This Week: January 13th (North America)
@flameboy84 But now they're out on Xbox 360. They've been out on Xbox One for a while.
Re: The Escapists Gets Xbox One Release Date
Really good news! I've been eagerly awaiting this since I first saw the trailer. It's coming a lot sooner than I thought too.
Re: GameBlast 15: Your Ideas Required!
@stylon I love Outlast (and reviewed it!) but haven't tried the Whistleblower DLC. Hmmm...
Re: Review: Juju (Xbox Live Arcade)
Quite a nice surprise here. Didn't expect much out of this one but I'm enjoying it so far. Nice review @DRL

Re: Ubisoft Confirms Tetris Ultimate Release Date on Xbox One
@JaredJ Digital only it would seem.
Re: Ubisoft Confirms Tetris Ultimate Release Date on Xbox One
@stylon Ubisoft said nothing about the price, but I'd guess $15 or $20.
I'm really looking forward to this. I love me some Tetris

Gravity the Video game?

Re: Accessory Review: Official Xbox One Media Remote
Cool review, Ken. If everything lines up, I'll be getting this bad boy for Christmas
Re: Pure Holidays: Our Guide to the Best Xbox 360 Games Available This Holiday Season
I still love my Xbox 360 as well, but my usage has decreased as of late.
I'm curious to know how Shadow of Mordor and Forza Horizon 2 run on last-gen. Haven't seen any information on them.
Re: Xbox 360 Digital Deals Leak Ahead of Black Friday Zero-Hour
So much good stuff. Bulletstorm, Mirror's Edge, and Skate for $3 a pop? How can I not?

Re: Assassin's Creed Unity Patch 3 Details Announced
That twister picture flat-out haunts me...
Re: pX Draws: Master Chief
@SuperKMx Typical. Never grasping what we really mean.
These are all really fantastic. Would love to hear what everyone else thinks.
Re: Review: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Danger of the Ooze (Xbox 360)

Re: Talking Point: Is Xbox One the Best Value this Holiday Season?
@Gamer83 The PS4 in Canada is $50 more than the US price; the Xbox One price did not change. So a standard PS4 is $449 compared to standard $399 XB1.
Re: Guide: How To Make Your Own Xbox One Dashboard Background
Useful guide! Can't wait to see what the community does with the template. I predict some pretty awesome themes coming real soon.
Re: Talking Point: Is Xbox One the Best Value this Holiday Season?
@hydeks agreed that us Canadians hate being called US, but this promotion has been confirmed to be US only.

Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue Thirty Three
@DRL I've never played any of the Shantae games either. Do you think I should start with the original?
Re: 343 Apologises for 20GB Halo Day One Patch

Re: Limbo Submitted for Korean Rating On Xbox One
Really great news but I'm thinking Microsoft should start offering cross-buy functionality on titles that are on both Xbox platforms.
Re: Poll: What’s Your Favourite Game Directed by Shinji Mikami?
Lots of solid games here but I had to go with Resident Evil 4. It was so ahead of its time, and many shooters to this day take a lot of cues from RE4. It's one of those games that I need to play right away whenever I hear it mentioned out of the blue.

Man, these guys are talented! This looks amazing
Re: Poll: Which October Release Are You Looking Forward To The Most?
I ended up picking Sunset Overdrive here, but man oh man, October is one stacked month. Can't wait to also play Alien: Isolation, The Evil Within, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Sleeping Dogs, Costume Quest 2, Killer Instinct S2 and both Walking Dead's. Phew!

@TheXboxHero Yeah and all of them seem to be worth playing. Well, except for Falling Skies. The rest of the year is looking promising too. It's a good time to be on Xbox.
Re: Forza Horizon 2 Demo Now Available on Xbox One
This was one of the best demos I've played in recent memory. Everything about it feels better and more refined than Forza 5 too.
Re: Shadow Warrior Delayed On Xbox One
Have never played the old Shadow Warrior. Should I be excited for this?
Re: Claire Redfield Returns in Resident Evil: Revelations 2
This is sounding more and more like classic Resident Evil. Definitely looking forward to this.
Re: Arkham Knight Batmobile Edition Looks Incredible
I don't usually purchase collector's editions but man, this is tempting.
Re: Batman Arkham Knight Due in June
@SunnyShores Yeah at first I thought the same. But June is usually a slow month but the right game could still sell like crazy. Look at the Last of Us.

Re: Xbox Live Gold Members Can Play Forza Motorsport 5 FREE This Weekend
I could get used to these Free Plays. Haven't played much of Forza 5 before this so this is a nice surprise for the weekend.
Re: What's Out This Week: September 2nd (North America)
@obie1980 Fixed now. Thanks for that
Re: Competition: Want to Win a Copy of Guacamelee, Stick It To The Man, or Abyss Odyssey?
This may just be the best comment thread ever!
Re: Dragon Age: Inquisition to Include Four-Player Co-Op Play
@hydeks judging from the trailer, this is going to be strictly online only. It still looks to be a nice addition to an already large game.
