@sinalefa Man, the 360/PS3 SoM is one of the worst and laziest ports I've ever seen. It never should have been released for last-gen consoles.

I won't be playing RotTR on 360 but I do hope it's a worthwhile release for those that don't have a One yet.

@sorethumbed I've been wanting to play that too before Witcher 3 is released. Can I start at 2 or should I also play the first game?

I'm going to try and sneak in Life is Strange if possible. But I'm also thinking of waiting for the rest of the season to come out too. Sigh, decisions.

Pretty neat that Microsoft can improve stuff like this. Controller improvements are something I never thought could happen this gen.

This developer is really starting to grow on me. Remember Me — in my opinion — was underrated, and I'm very excited to play Life is Strange. This new game looks very interesting!

That's a great price for Dead Rising 3. If I didn't already own it, I wouldn't hesitate on picking it up.

@Gamer83 It's very much a possibility. I'm just curious, has Microsoft done anything remotely close to cross-buy or cross-save?

Sadly, the cross-buy is ONLY on PlayStation. If you pre-order the PS4 edition, you automatically get the PS3 version for free. Microsoft really needs to begin offering cross buy as well here soon, wouldn't you say?

I love RPG's — my list includes South Park and Child of Light, and I reviewed Pier Solar HD --, but sadly DAI was one that got pushed aside for the time being. Going to school, working full-time — I just wasn't ready to dive into an 80 hour experience. It's definitely in my backlog, and I'll most likely get to it in the new year.

2048 was created in response to Threes early when it was released on iOS. There's been a lot of clones but 2048 was the most popular.

I still love my Xbox 360 as well, but my usage has decreased as of late.

I'm curious to know how Shadow of Mordor and Forza Horizon 2 run on last-gen. Haven't seen any information on them.

@JaxonH I can't wait for Ori as well. The last I heard on a release date was Q4 of this year, but I'm thinking it'll be pushed into 2015. Never Alone looks to be a solid little game, according to some reviews out there.

@midnafanboy At least we still have the new Nickelodeon TV show which is awesome. This game is based off of it. It's just a shame this game doesn't retain the high quality of the show.

It's impressive to see the effort Rockstar has put into this. A first-person mode could easily have been a simple camera switch, but this is clearly so much more.
@SuperKMx I'll probably stick with third-person as well, but some sections in the game could benefit from this new perspective, specifically some combat scenarios.

@Gamer83 The PS4 in Canada is $50 more than the US price; the Xbox One price did not change. So a standard PS4 is $449 compared to standard $399 XB1.

@Gamer83 Thanks! I'd say Outlast is far more scarier than The Evil Within and both handle scares quite differently. But TEW knows how to build tension really well. I was gripping my controller pretty damn tightly for most of it, especially the last few chapters. Chapter 6 and 10, too!

@DRL I've never played any of the Shantae games either. Do you think I should start with the original?

@DRL It is annoying. On the other hand, those who buy the disc can still play the MCC, just not the online component until the patch is finished installing. For those going digital, they can pre-download the patch on top of the base download.

Really great news but I'm thinking Microsoft should start offering cross-buy functionality on titles that are on both Xbox platforms.

Lots of solid games here but I had to go with Resident Evil 4. It was so ahead of its time, and many shooters to this day take a lot of cues from RE4. It's one of those games that I need to play right away whenever I hear it mentioned out of the blue.

I ended up picking Sunset Overdrive here, but man oh man, October is one stacked month. Can't wait to also play Alien: Isolation, The Evil Within, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Sleeping Dogs, Costume Quest 2, Killer Instinct S2 and both Walking Dead's. Phew!

@TheXboxHero Yeah and all of them seem to be worth playing. Well, except for Falling Skies. The rest of the year is looking promising too. It's a good time to be on Xbox.

This was one of the best demos I've played in recent memory. Everything about it feels better and more refined than Forza 5 too.

Have never played the old Shadow Warrior. Should I be excited for this?

This is sounding more and more like classic Resident Evil. Definitely looking forward to this.

I don't usually purchase collector's editions but man, this is tempting.

@SunnyShores Yeah at first I thought the same. But June is usually a slow month but the right game could still sell like crazy. Look at the Last of Us.

Played this on PC when it came out. It's definitely a terrifying experience but does tend to get a bit repetitive. I'm intrigued by some of the new content they're adding though.

I could get used to these Free Plays. Haven't played much of Forza 5 before this so this is a nice surprise for the weekend.
