Xbox has suffered another server outage today, but not in the way you'd might expect!
As confirmed on the official Xbox Status support page, the outage affects "store & subscriptions", "cloud gaming & remote play", and "games & gaming". At the time of writing, the team is still working on getting these issues fixed.
So, specifically, you might notice issues with buying games on the Xbox Store, playing games through Xbox Cloud Gaming and accessing remote play, and even playing digital games from your library.
Everything else to do with Xbox's online servers, including sign-ins and online multiplayer, should work fine.
This issue will be fixed in the coming hours, but if you're still facing it and you want an alternative method to play your games, don't forget you can temporarily put your Xbox in offline mode until all these issues have blown over.

It's crazy that viewing your own game libraries of games installed on your console and or own is not actually permanently on your actual console. Its basically only a bunch of artwork whether it be digital or a disc based game.
Its like on 360 , no internet connection and you get no icons , just blank blocks.
Was wondering why I couldn't see that berserk game in the new games section. Not that I want it. Just hate when things aren't working properly.
If my kids weren't such ***** tonight I probably would of got a chance to be annoyed by this!
We had it at work with one of our cloud based softwares not working due to Azure being down.
I really don’t like cloud based software, so much slower than on PC hard drive or own company servers.
This crap future being pushed down our throats, similar to streaming games in some instances.
I had half my library dissapearing for like two weeks. I could still access the games but they wouldn't show up.
Thankfully that's fixed now.
Ah so this is why I cant access my library. Neat....
Any idea if this affects cloud saves? I tried to load my cloud save from Elden Ring and it would not do it no matter how many times I tried.
Call me a conspiracy theorist but I think they're doing some secret behind the scene stuff with consolidating our collections across different platforms... and maybe steam stuff...
maybe...
I tried moving South of Midnight from the internal storage to the expansion card, but I encountered an error message that got stuck in a loop and wouldn’t disappear. I’m not sure if this was related to the server outage, but I ultimately had to hard reset the console to resolve it.
@KITG_Group_BrunoB my 360 is offline & i’m pretty sure the actual games are downloaded on the hard drive. i actually transferred one of the games to my PC via usb flash drive & all the game files are visible
Ah I see, I thought this might’ve been a bug unique to the insider beta builds, but apparently not.
Couldn't boot in to several game pass games this morning, that's a pretty major issue.
Ahhh! This might be why I couldn't play Geometry Wars 2 the other day, it just kept saying "Something went wrong, try again later."
