Every now and again, the team at Xbox treats media to behind-closed-doors showcases that give us a look at some upcoming games - typically a small selection of Xbox indie games that are coming out in the not-too-distant future.
We've actually seen two of these in April already - one called the "Xbox EMEA Developer Sessions" that Pure Xbox was in attendance for, and one called the "Xbox Asia Developer Sessions" that Pure Xbox wasn't in attendance for.
Now, unfortunately, we're not able to share all the footage we got to see, but we can at least reveal what the games were - so we're going to drop trailers for all of them down below. Three of the five in the EMEA Developer Sessions are upcoming Xbox Game Pass titles - Moonlighter 2, Winter Burrow and The Alters, and they're all shaping up to be fantastic additions to the service later this year.
The other two are Outbound and Hela, and wow - these are definitely games to keep an eye on! Outbound is a multiplayer open-world exploration game that has charming visuals and a chill vibe, while Hela is basically the spiritual successor to the Unravel series, and a game that many Split Fiction fans will probably want to gravitate to.
So, down below, we're going to throw all the trailers for the games featured in these two secret showcases. Keep your eyes peeled for more details on each of them as we get closer to launch - some could be with us relatively soon!

Hela looks really good!
Moonlighter is an absolute must (the first game is in Game Pass). Cannot wait for the sequel.
As someone who's always liked VW campervans (type 1 & 2), Outbound looks interesting.
Congratulations PureXbox!!
Oh man, I don't know how you're able to stay quiet with behind the scenes information. lol.
I've been on a dark/horror gaming kick lately so Agni has my interest (but they all look good).
All three of the game pass ones really seem interesting and promising.
Man, I saw Outbound and thought you got to see Outward 2 and got REALLY excited for a second.
I had never heard of Hela. It looks amazing!
@jesse_dylan Moonlighter is phenomenal. The first game is on Game Pass - you dungeon dive at night (there's several dungeons in the game and you have to work your way to the bottom of each one, beat the boss, and unlock the next) and everything you find in the dungeon you can sell via your very own shop the next day.
You set your own prices and that's all there is to the shop side of it. If you price too high, customers will leave unhappy. You then use the money made to upgrade your little village - buy blacksmiths, shop space upgrades so you can sell more things at a time, and so on. Rinse and repeat. It really is outstanding. Moonlighter 2 looks amazing too. I'd definitely give the first a go.
@Kaloudz preaching to the choir here. I played moonlighter when it first came out, and was a Kickstarter backer for it! I didn’t like the dlc as much, but I really enjoyed the main game a lot. Hoping the magic can be repeated for the sequel! I liked the first so much that I’m worried lightning can’t strike twice for me.
Not the same thing, but I played it almost as obsessively as I played loop hero.
@jesse_dylan I shall let you off haha. I thought by the sound of your first post in here that you hadn't played it. I never got round to the DLC myself but the sequel and I will be very, very intimate friend lol.
@Kaloudz according to my notes, I played it 35 hours on switch and 10 on pc. I had figured I’d actually played it more!
The DLC just had a totally different vibe and a really bad translation. But it’s also possible I just felt done and didn’t give it enough of a go.
@jesse_dylan I think I did about the same but I'd have to check. Funnily enough I know I completed the game but the achievement for completing the game never unlocked so I'm not even sure I got to the end (or real end lol).
